The Game Changer is their custom-built SuperCat Marine boat with 38' of excellence. She was built by the Schultz family in Port Alfred, South Africa in 2013. The Game Changer was built specifically for the waters of the Bazaruto Archipelago. She has won various fishing tournaments and saw a lot of big catches aboard. The beauty is fully rigged with Simrad electronics, a custom-built fishing chair, a steel BBQ, and other professional accessories. The Game Chaser can accommodate up to 4 anglers.
The crew will not only show you the local honey holes and the most productive spots around. You will be able to enjoy the fantastic opportunities that don't come around too often. With Black, Blue, and Striped Marlin on the menu for the day, you will also be able to hit the offshore grounds for Shortbill Spearfish and Broadbill Swordfish, all in one day.
Even though the local fishing grounds teem with Billfish, you can also get your hands on Mahi Mahi, Jobfish, Barracuda, Kingfish, Tuna, Jobfish, and many other species. FishBazaruto specializes in vertical jigging, ultra light tackle spinning, drop shot, plugging, heavy tackle big game fishing, and saltwater fly fishing.

The son of one of the postwar pioneers of Billfishing in the Maputo area of Mozambique, Captain Duarte Rato has been fishing offshore since he was just eight years old. By the time he left school at 18 he had already been awarded his long range captain's license and was operating a 37 ft sportfisher full time. After spending a brief period in the hotel industry after obtaining a degree in Tourism Management at Johannesburg University, he soon decided that he wanted to spend his life following his passion - fishing full time for huge Billfish and a variety of other species. He has been at the helm of Vamazi since 2003, during which time he has grown a solid reputation for being able to guide clients to giant Black Marlin. Although he has caught more Grander Black Marlin (1000 lb plus) than any other captain in the whole of Africa, he does not focus exclusively on this species: he enjoys using a whole arsenal of techniques to fish for all the various species of the Bazaruto Archipelago.
