Sligo Sportfishing invites you to enjoy high-end angling experience out of Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The company is run and operated by Capt. Anthony O'Donnell, a native fisherman with a decade of professional experience.
Join him aboard the 'Sligo', a brand new 2022 42' Henriques Flybridge boat. She is a spacious vessel, equipped with the latest fish-finding and navigational electronics. The Sligo comes powered by twin 715 Cummins engines and can cruise at a hair-raising speed of 35 knots. Not to mention the infamous sea keeper gyro on both of our vessels! No more sea sickness!
The Sligo has plenty of fishing space for up to 6 anglers. She also features an air-conditioned cabin and a restroom for your maximum comfort while spending your day on the water. All aboard!
With Capt. Anthony, you will be able to find a trip that suits your personal needs. If you want to wet a line without having to go too far out, battle trophy Striped Bass, massive Flounder, Bluefish, Sharks, and even Bluefin Tuna.
For those who are up to a challenge and have the itch to fish, there is a selection of overnight packages that will take you trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Albacore Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and Bigeye Tuna to name a few.
All trip prices include fuel, tackle, bait, and ice. Your captain will supply a selection of lures, fishing licenses, and drinks. Tip for the Mate is not included, so make sure to leave one. You will begin your trip by catching live bait.

You never know what to expect with all the conflicting fishing reports, but these guys PUT YOU ON FISH. This was our first time doing striper fishing on a charter boat - and let me tell you - this trip exceeded all expectations. The ship was very clean and the captain and first mate were excellent. The inside of the cabin is spacious and kept us warm while we were sailing to the right spot. These guys put us on fish within the first 30 minutes and we limited the boat on keeper fish by 9am! We caught 30 total! I would hands down recommend this boat and crew to anyone interested in striper fishing!

I booked with Sligo Sport Fishing after reading reviews. They were awesome from start to finish. Our original date to go out was questionable as far as weather. The owner Capt Anthony was quick to find new dates and kept in touch with me as far as his thoughts on the fishing and weather. 5/22/24 was the date we selected and it couldn’t have been better. We had the pleasure of Captain KC and mate Kenny. What a great combo. We were on the fish from start to finish. They were sure to make sure everyone was having a great time. Captain Anthony O'Donnell has been fishing for as long as he could remember. Born and raised in New Jersey, Anthony had his first offshore Tuna trip when he wasn't even 10 yet. Fishing is in his blood and he especially enjoys teaching others. Having captained various boats for a decade, Anthony started his own business a couple of years ago and has never looked back.
