There is no better time to escape the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life and get back to nature with Unsalted Outfitters. Captain Scott Charon has been fishing Lake Michigan for over 2 decades, and is excited to share his passion for fishing with you.
Hop on board his brand new spacious 30' Pursuit Offshore boat! Beautifully maintained, this boat can fit you and 5 fishing friends on board without crossing lines. This brand new vessel was made for fishing the Great Lakes. She has twin 454 HP Mercury engines, and full navigational and safety equipment. The engines, the extensive knowledge of the captain, and Fishfinder, all combine to make sure you stay on top of the fish all day.
You'll spend the day targeting Steelhead, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Coho Salmon, as well as King Salmon.
Children over 5 are welcome on board, and there are 2 life vests available for them. They will have some great stories to tell their friends back at school after this trip.
You are welcome to bring along your own food and drink. A cooler to take home your haul after the trip is advised. You must bring along a Michigan Fishing License on the day.

Gavan and Kevin were willing to teach me and answer every question I had. I learned a lot, and we caught some great fish. Highly recommend Capt. Scott and his crew. Definitely intend to be back!

3/4 Day Trip (AM) on July 8, 2022 • 6 adultsOur fishing was not great, but it wasn’t for lack of trying! Captain Scott and first mate Mike threw the book at the fish! We tried different spots, speeds, depths, lures and nothing could make the fish bite. We still managed to catch 2 Brown Trout and a huge King Salmon. I’d never eaten trout before and we grilled some of the both fish that night and the Trout was delicious!! Almost a little sweet, they were both delicious! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Unsalted Outfitters again! The boat was well kept, the guys were both conversational and they did a great job teaching us what was going on.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
