Here at Rod Boss Sportfishing, we try to make every trip as fun and exciting as it can be. Based in Macatawa (Holland) Captain Mike offers a great fishing adventure for everyone who wants to join. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome, so you can share this day with your friends and family.
You'll be fishing on a 31' Tiara boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This performance boat is powered by twin 350 HP Crusader engines and reaches the maximum speed of 32 knots. The boat is very comfortable, even during full day trips. You'll find a private head ready to make your day more enjoyable.
You'll visit different fishing grounds, depending on what trip you choose. Target Chinook and Coho Salmon, Brown and Lake Trout, Steelhead, or Freshwater Drum (Sheepshead). The main approach is to use trolling and the captain will show you what you need to do in no time. Once you feel the fish, just don't let the line break.
All fishing equipment is covered by the captain and included in the price. He also takes care of fish cleaning, so you can leave the boat with the freshest fillets in your bag. You only need to purchase your fishing licenses and pack some food and drinks.
Gratuity is customary and the crew works for tips. The size of the tip can vary but a 20% tip is greatly appreciated.

Highly recommend Rod Boss! Mike and Seth provided a comfortable and fun sunset fishing outing. We had a great day and caught 7 salmon!!
What a trip,beautiful sunrise on Lake Michigan. Had 2 fish in the boat in 45 minutes. Mike and Jason worked there tails off keeping us on fish. The crew,boat,and trip 5 star plus!! A trip my brother and sisters will remember forever.
Great Charter. Mike & crew worked hard to set us up for a successful haul & then expertly filleted the catch and put it on ice for us to take home. Our group of 6 caught a 29 & 31inch Steelhead, a 20# Salmon and 4 nice sized Lake Trout … among other fish. Thank you for a great day on Lake Michigan!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
