Step aboard a 22' bay boat manufactured by Champion in 2005 and let it take you on an adventure of a lifetime. The vessel is powered by a 225 HP Evinrude engine capable of reaching a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots.
It can accommodate up to four anglers and is fully equipped for a successful day on the water. You'll find everything you need on board, from safety equipment and navigational electronics to live bait tanks, and ice-boxes.
Captain Jacob Chapman is a seasoned captain with over 30 years of experience, and he'll show you the most productive spots and the most efficient techniques for landing the catch. You'll be targeting Redfish and Speckled Trout in inshore and offshore lake waters. So get ready for a light tackle battle to remember!
You'll be using lures and live bait (bought before the trip), and both will be included in the price. All the fishing equipment and catch cleaning and filleting are provided free of charge too. Lodging is available at an additional cost. Bayou Bandits loves taking kids fishing, so don't hesitate to bring your little bandits along. Our group of 4 (3 of which were very novice fishers) had a great time with Cpt. Chapman. Jacob worked hard to put us on fish all morning. Started a little slow, but once we found them, we FOUND them—and some BIG ones at that. I caught my PB redfish, and my friend caught two PBs himself. Our wives had the best time, which is THE most important part of the equation! Would absolutely fish with Jacob again and appreciate the time we had.

Went red fishing today with the family , it was a tough day but we stayed at it and found some really good sized reds. Captain was great and assisted my family very well.

Captain Jacob put my son and me on a lot of fish today! Redfish, drum, gar, catfish, stingray, and crab🤣. Although it was extremely hot we had a great time, constantly catching something. He did great with my 11 year old as well. Highly recommend!!

Capt Jacob was awesome. He had us on fish and with our limit before we knew it. Super helpful with baiting the hook and netting and removing fish. All we had to do was cast and catch. He even helped one of our group with tips to cast more accurately. I'm planning another charter in a couple months and will be coming back to Bayou Bandits.
Can’t wait to do it again.

He used to take me on fishing trips, just the two of us, and teach me about fishing. With over 30 years of experience, I also love teaching my guest everything I know about angling.
