The boat you'll fish from is a spacious 25' Gator Bay powered by a 250 ETEC Evinrude. That kind of juice gives the boat an impressive maximum cruising speed of 45 knots, you won't be wasting any time getting to the fishing spot!
Captain Don Maille will take you and up to 3 other anglers on a great fishing adventure in the inshore fishing waters of Louisiana. You can expect to go after Black Drum, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and others. The techniques available are drift fishing, bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, and popping with light tackle. Captain Don will assist and instruct you in any of these techniques and you can rest assured you are in good hands. All required equipment is provided by the captain.
Cleaning and filleting your catch is available free of charge. Live bait wells and live bait are also available for use, without an extra fee. The minimum age for children is 6, kids under 13 will need to wear life vests at all times, and parents are required to provide a life vest if their child is under 10 years old. Keep in mind everyone on board whether fishing or not should purchase a fishing license. You can get a 3-day permit through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries

Hands down, the best guided fishing trip we’ve ever been on. Lines stayed tight all morning long. This was our first fishing trip for our son and he had an absolute blast. Captain Don provided a top notch experience that we can’t wait to book with him again.

To be out on the water at sunrise and see the beauty of God's creation in the beautiful colors as they come up over the horizon makes my office one of the best places to be. I have fished since I was 4 years old with my first Snoopy pole. I have loved fishing ever since, I have spent countless days running the bayous and bays of South Louisiana catching everything from fish, shrimp, and crabs. I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I have gained over the years with each of my clients. I have fished the waters of Shell Beach, Delacroix and Hopedale since I was around 8 years old.
