Chad St. Pe has been fishing the Shell Beach, Hopedale, and Delacroix areas of Louisiana for over 30 years. He absolutely loves the Louisiana waters and what it has to offer. Capt. Chad will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, and Bass, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
When you book with Cajun Outcast Charters, you will set out on a 23' Bayreef by Key West powered by a 300 HP Suzuki four stroke engine. The boat takes up to 4 anglers and is equipped with a wireless trolling motor, Lowrance GPS, and twin Power-Poles. Capt. Chad will make it his goal to make sure you have a great time and catch fish.
The captain runs all of his trips himself and can accommodate corporate and large-group fishing trips. He has a network of other local captains that can assist with making that happen. Ladies and kids are welcome, kids must be 5 years old and older. The captain will also assit with finding you near by lodging as well if needed.
When you book a trip with Cajun Outcast Inshore Charters, he takes care of it all. All you need to bring is a valid Louisiana fishing license, sunscreen/bug spray, and whatever snacks and drinks you want. Also, bring a cooler to transport your fillets home, Capt. Chad will clean and bag your catch that day.

Chad was a great captain, he took care of any and all needs we had, took us to a bunch of spots, and put us on the fish. He was super knowledgeable and had quite a few funny stories to tell as well. I highly recommend this trip.

One of the best charters I’ve been on. My sons(6) first charter trip and could not have been better. Captain Chad put us on fish, and Gage kept the bait coming. Redfish, trout, sheepshead, alligator gar and taught us both new tricks throughout the day. Highly recommend, will be fishing with Capitals Chad again soon.

Cap’ n Chad is one of the most entertaining guides you’ll ever have the experience of fishing with. He has a jolly manner about him that makes for a memorable bayou experience that will probably stick with for the rest of your years. You can’t help but laugh and have a grand time all the while catching fish all day long.
We definitely had a great time fishing with you and Conner. Looking forward to fishing with y’all again next time you all are in town.
Captain Chad contacted me within 20 minutes of accepting the charter. He recommended places to stay and information on what to bring, licenses needed etc. Chad reached out again the week of the charter as well as the day before the charter which was great. He met us and was very easy to talk to, he provided tips for where to cast etc. Within 30 minutes of leaving the dock we were catching fish! We caught speckled trout, black drum, white trout and sheepshead. We also caught some oyster shells, crab traps and a tree branch 😁. It was a wonderful birthday experience and will absolutely book with Captain Chad in the future.
