Fish Hook Charters invites you to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to enjoy the thrill of catching big fish. Join the crew aboard their spacious vessel and explore those fantastic waters in comfort and style.
They will welcome you aboard the ‘Fish Hook I’, a 36’ custom-built boat. She comes powered by twin Cummins engines and is rigged with modern electronics and safety equipment. The Fish Hook I has a bathroom for your comfort, along with electric reels, tournament-grade tackle, and plenty of space for up to 6 anglers.
From inshore adventures to a deep sea offshore extravaganza up to 20 miles offshore, there is a trip for you. Fish Hook Charters is on the water year-end, even during the off-season from November through February.
Troll for Kingfish and Spanish Mackerel or venture further out for a healthy dose of Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and other top-water Pelagics. Bottom fish for Shark, Seabass, and whichever bottom-dweller you manage to find. Head up to 20 miles out for Grouper, Jack, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Black Seabass, and many other species. Or go all the way up to 50 miles offshore for Sailfish, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Snapper, and more.
The warm months are the best for trolling for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Mackerel, and Wahoo. When the waters are colder, you can get your hands on Snapper, Black seabags, and Grouper.
All trips come with the use of quality rods, reels, bat, and licenses. Fish cleaning is also available at no extra cost.

We had the most amazing fishing trip! Carson and Roger were awesome first mates. Very accommodating, fun and helpful. They were so personable and had us laughing and joking. They always kept an eye on us and helped us bait the hooks, and reel in the fish. They even cleaned and filleted the fish for us! Definitely recommend these guys! Thank you for an amazing experience!!

There isn’t anything that I could say bad. From start to finish. Owner was there to say hello to all of us before we left. Captain where to go to catch fish specially since it was a little harder with cold water is mate was excellent. The weather was excellent and we caught fish so the whole trip was great. We will definitely do it again. It would recommend them to everyone.

Great trip with my kids

First time my boys had been fishing on the ocean and it was a great time! We did an afternoon trip and had a really good time, we caught spanish mackerel, seabass, grunts, and ring fish. Captain Carson and first mate Roger were fantastic, couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
We’re sailors and used to the waves but the ocean was pretty rough that afternoon and Carson navigated them perfectly not just while heading out but when we trolled and bottom fished.
My only complaint is that I didn’t book a whole day!! Next time we’ll be booking with Fish Hook and definitely a whole day. We can’t wait!

Went out on the 7am 5 hour trip. Three in our party plus an additional party of two. Safety was explained prior to departure. Wonderful ride out to sea via the intercoastal. Solid 1.5 hours of trolling. All five caught fish. Mackerel, ringtail, bonito. At least 7-12 a piece. Ty the mate was on point. Had the gear ready to go. Fish off the hook quickly. Then went bottom fishing. Another 20 plus fish landed. Sea bass, flounder, pigfish croaker. A wonderful day. Carson knew exactly where to go. And then at the dock he dressed them quickly. Will definitely be back

Great time on the water, and the big hammerhead was a bonus!
5 Hour Trip (AM) on May 19, 2025 • 4 adults
We were just looking to catch some fish during our 5hr morning trip, not hunting anything specific. Captain Carson and first mate Ty suggested we troll for Spanish mackerel, then bottom fish, and finish up looking to hook a shark. And that's exactly what happened.
We caught a few trolling, missed more than we got in the boat as we headed to a spot to bottom fish. We ended up catching a variety of fish including some we kept as bait. We reeled in a couple dogfish too, before relocating one last time to look for something bigger. That's exactly what happened as we ended the day with my son landing a 5' hammerhead. What a day!
When we make it back this way, we'll definitely book with Fish Hook Charters again, and highly recommend to anyone else thinking about fishing in the North Myrtle Beach area!
