Fish Hook Charters invites you to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to enjoy the thrill of catching big fish. Join the crew aboard their spacious vessel and explore those fantastic waters in comfort and style.
They will welcome you aboard the 'Fish Hook I', a 36' custom-built boat. She comes powered by twin Cummins engines and is rigged with modern electronics and safety equipment. The Fish Hook I has a bathroom for your comfort, along with electric reels, tournament-grade tackle, and plenty of space for up to 6 anglers.
From inshore adventures to a deep sea offshore extravaganza up to 20 miles offshore, there is a trip for you. Fish Hook Charters is on the water year-end, even during the off-season from November through February.
Troll for Kingfish and Spanish Mackerel or venture further out for a healthy dose of Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and other top-water Pelagics. Bottom fish for Shark, Seabass, and whichever bottom-dweller you manage to find. Head up to 20 miles out for Grouper, Jack, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Black Seabass, and many other species. Or go all the way up to 50 miles offshore for Sailfish, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Snapper, and more.
The warm months are the best for trolling for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Mackerel, and Wahoo. When the waters are colder, you can get your hands on Snapper, Black seabags, and Grouper.
All trips come with the use of quality rods, reels, bat, and licenses. Fish cleaning is also available at no extra cost.

7 Hour Trip on June 10, 2026 • 3 adultsWe caught fish all day long to the point where our arms and shoulders started to get sore. Started off bottom fishing and caught close to 100 sea bass, a few pigfish, some pinfish we later used for bait, and a few other species. While bottom fishing we also caught our limit of atlantic sharpnose sharks. We started trolling with a couple hours left and csught 8-10 spanish mackerel and finished the day off with a 57” blacktip shark. Captain Ronnie and Cross were great and highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to catch fish and have a great, memorable trip!

Black bass, pin fish and a mess of sharks. Every time you looked around someone ( a group of six , four fishing and two throwing chunks overboard.) was catching something. A lot of pictures of us fighting fish. Grandson is all ready talking about next year’s fishing trip. Again thanks to the captain for his hospitality and ability to find fish and his crewman for your help assisting us with the gear and knowledge in identifying the fish.

We went out a little deeper, changed the rods and caught a beautiful black tip shark. The guys were very helpful, professional and courteous. Everyone enjoyed the trip. We will definietly charter with them again if we plan another trip.

We caught a good amount of spanish mackerel and again i reeled in another bigger shark. Last year i reeld in a 56” fine tooth shark and this year was about a 3 1/2’-4’ black nose shark. it was pretty wavy, rocky and thankfully cross was right there to make sure i got that shark in the boat and didnt fall in while doing so. Again great time out with these guys.

They were so personable and had us laughing and joking. They always kept an eye on us and helped us bait the hooks, and reel in the fish. They even cleaned and filleted the fish for us! It started out as a pretty slow day, but honestly, we were just happy to be on the water and NOT melting in the heat! We booked a morning trip for that very reason. 😂 Our captain kept moving us around to different spots, determined to find us some fish. And let me tell you… his first mate, “Wreck-It Ralph,” was worth the price of admission alone! 😂 Yes, they ALL had nicknames, and between the stories, jokes, and nonstop entertainment, we definitely weren’t bored! We even had a SAILFISH on the line!! 🎣 And then… well… WE let it get away. 🤦♀️😂 It wasn’t their fault AT ALL. Apparently, there’s a little more to this fishing thing than just holding onto the pole and hoping for the best! 😂 The crew did an absolutely amazing job. They worked hard, kept us laughing, moved us around, and did everything they could to put us on fish. we definitely came home with a boatload of laughs and a great memory! ❤️ 10/10 experience and we would do it a million times over! We’ll definitely be back… hopefully next time that sailfish doesn’t get the last laugh! 😂🎣
