You and up to three other anglers will be fishing aboard their 18' aluminum fishing Alumacraft built in 2022. Powered by a Yamaha engine and cruising at a maximum speed of 32 knots, this boat comes equipped with top-quality safety and navigational gear. There's also a live bait tank on board to make sure your bait stays fresh and appealing.

You'll have endless options when it comes to fishing locations and species with hundreds of lakes located only 30 miles from Brainerd. Nate Berg Fishing Guides will tailor your fishing experience according to your desires - whether you'd like to focus on particular species or have a mixed bag of targets. Whichever option you choose, your guides will show you the best locations and techniques for hunting Walleye, Trout, Bass, Pike, and many others.

They'll also provide you with the best fishing gear, including lures and live bait. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for your convenience, and the drinks are also provided. Just make sure to bring an extra layer of clothing and tell your guides what your desired targets are. They will choose the location and organize the trip according to your choice - they have all the knowledge and all the lakes to make your day with them a life-changing experience.

First Trip Back Fishing in over 35 Years—SUCCESS

This trip was bittersweet as we used to fish with my father before he passed away.  Back on the water with Nate as our guide was so much fun!!  I didn’t know what to expect, but he was determined to make sure we were successful.  Nate had the best stories to tell and got an earful from me too.😝 Thank you Nate for being so down to earth and helping me and my son have a fun day at the end of a fishing rod!  Thank you for fielding all of the fish questions and teaching us along the way.  Nate knows his stuff…if you’re ready to go, give him a call!

With over 400 lakes to choose from and countless species to target, I wasn’t sure where to begin but Nate made it effortless. He took the time to ask about our goals, preferences and skill levels, then tailored the entire day to exactly what we wanted.
The 18’ Alumacraft boat was spotless, stable, and clearly well maintained. Powered by a Yamaha engine, it handled the lakes beautifully and there was plenty of room for our group to fish comfortably. I really appreciated the high quality rods, reels, lures he supplied.

Fantastic charter!

6 Hour Trip PM on July 17, 2025 • 2 adults

My 15 year old son and I had never fished for northern pike or walleye before, so when we went on vacation in Minnesota, I looked at the reviews of fishing charter operators near where we were staying and found Nate’s listing along with his reviews.  Since they were all 5 star ratings, we decided to go with him.  We are really glad we did too, because when we got to Nate’s first fishing hole, my son and I together caught 19 decent sized smallmouth bass and 1 big walleye.  Nate could hardly keep up with us because he was busy baiting our hooks or pulling hooks out of fish that we had caught.  We even caught some nice size northern pike which were absolutely beautiful fish.  Nate proved that he knows how to work with people that are inexperienced fishermen, as well as those that are very experienced.  He took my inexperienced 15 year old son under his wing and patiently taught him how to fish like a pro.  My son and I have done some bass and catfish fishing where we live in Tennessee, but we’ve never caught fish as fast and in the large numbers as we caught fish with Nate.  My son I I did a 6 hour charter and at the end of the day we had a good laugh together before we went to bed, because our arms were sore from all the reeling we did bringing in the fish.  Thank you, Nate! We will be back!

Great guide He knows how to get fish in the boat

Nate is a great guy and a great guide. He worked with us on meeting points and was on top of the weather. We dodged the storms both days. He kept us on fish the whole time. He knew the “spots”, and techniques. We did two 8 hour trips and were constantly on fish. His prices are below others in the area. We caught our target species, walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth. If you want to catch fish, I highly recommend Nate Berg.

Fantastic charter!
