Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Amberjack, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and who knows what else!

On the day of your trip you're likely to bottom fish using heavy tackle.

Your vessel for the day is a 30' Sportfishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
