These waters are known for Amberjack, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'

Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You'll step aboard a 30' Sportfishing that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Capt. Cory will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
