Launching out of Winthrop Harbor, Kinn’s Sport Fishing takes their clients and friends to the productive waters of Lake Michigan. If you are looking for a freshwater adventure on your next vacations in Illinois, you have found the right place.

The Winthrop season begins in April as the lake begins to warm up. You will be able to start targeting Coho Salmon and Steelhead as they begin their hunt for schooling alewives. The season will go through May and will last for just under 6 weeks.

Your targeted species will also be active close to shore so you won’t have to travel too far out to fill the cooler with the best-eating fish of the season!

Kinn’s Sport Fishing operates a 36’ Chris Craft boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers. Bring your friends and family with you to share these unforgettable moments!

The vessel comes powered by twin 330 HP Crusader engines and outfitted with modern GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio to save your time while you’re searching for Salmon and Trout. It also features a restroom for your maximum comfort while on the water.

Your trip will come inclusive with quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures, as well as cleaning and filleting of your catch. All aboard!
