Captain Grant and crew did an amazing job getting us on the fish. This was a family guys day out (ages 7 - 65) and they were helpful and made sure everyone was confident in what to do as we are not very experienced fishers. We caught a lot of fish including Steelhead, King Salmon and even a 16 lbs Lake Trout! The boat was clean, has a toilet and mini fridge, and ran smoothly. Awesome time and we will be going with this group again on our next trip!

I had three young grandsons with me and the captain and deck hand were wonderful with them. They were really nice guys.  Halfway through the trip the wind kicked up bad and pretty much killed the bite.  But all six of us still caught a fish.  Despite the wind, the air temperature was great.  It was a beautiful day.  We all had a wonderful time on the water.

My wife and I were up on Wisconsin for a limited amount of time and we booked the fishing trip well in advance and so we had to deal with the weather as it was.  If you have the flexibility be sure to scout the weather conditions, especially wind conditions, a few days in advance, and if it’s a windy day try to reschedule.  We were out on some really rough waters and in windy conditions but we didn’t have any flexible time to try to reschedule.  Even if we had caught a fish just trying to reel it in while staying upright would have been a challenge for us because this was the first time for us out on the waters of Lake Michigan.  I would highly recommend avoiding those conditions by really scouting the conditions and being in touch with the crew to see if scheduling yourself out of trying to fish in conditions like we had is possible.
