Kinn’s Sport Fishing invites you to join them in Winthrop Harbor and enjoy the beautiful waters of the mighty Lake Michigan. Explore its western shores and have a fun-filled trip with your family and friends. 

This legendary company has been putting their clients on fish since 1969. Founded by the late Howard Kinn, the charters evolved into one of the most respectful destinations in Lake Michigan.

The crew’s enthusiasm and dedication are simply contagious. They will work hard to put you on top of the hottest bite and show you the most productive spots to land your very own Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Steelhead, and Brown Trout.

Troll these beautiful waters aboard a 38’ Bertram boat, which is a seaworthy vessel with enough room for up to 6 anglers. This boat comes powered by twin 330 HP Mercruiser engines. It is outfitted with all the electronics and professional accessories needed for a productive day of trolling.

Pack your lunch and drinks and join the crew aboard their vessel. You will be able to purchase a valid fishing license at a small fee right on the boat. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures will be provided for the trip. Your fish will be cleaned by the deckhand once you’re done catching.

The company was founded in Algoma back in 1969 by the late Howard Kinn and has evolved into Wisconsin's premier charter fishing destination. A team of experienced and professional anglers, Kinn's Sport Fishing is owned and operated by Captain Troy Mattson and Bret Cook. A North Dakota native and a “flatlander,” Troy has always loved the outdoors. He is obsessed with Salmon fishing industry and has spent almost two decades mastering the Great Lakes. Troy is a proud husband and father of two little girls. Captain Bret Cook began exploring the Great Lakes in the mid-1990's. He partnered with the legendary Howard Kinn in 2000 and has never looked back.
