Inshore fishing in Florida is awesome – the variety of species mixed with the scenery and wildlife make for a fantastic trip. The fishing is only a part of your trip – you will be exposed to a tremendous amount of wildlife: dolphins, manatees, hundreds of species of birds and an occasional alligator!
You will spend the day aboard his 24' Skeeter Bay boat. This beautiful vessel was built in 2022 and boasts full navigational equipment. She also has a wireless trolling motor, so you can stalk the prey and be on top of them before they know it.
Capt. Todd fully supports catch and release. This is important for the local ecosystem and keeps these rivers plentiful for the next time you return. But there are species which are plentiful and you can carry them home to enjoy if you wish. On your trip, you can expect to catch Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, and Sheepshead along with some other species that occasionally frequent these waters.
All rods and reels are included and are all custom-built. They won't let you down when you are reeling in your dream catch. Fly fishing equipment can be provided too, but you must let the captain know before the trip if you would like to use it.
Live bait is prepared before the trip. This will give you maximum time to fish. The bait will be kept nice and fresh in the live well bait tank on board and will give you the best chance of catching fish.
Water is provided, but you should bring a packed lunch on the longer trips and snacks on the shorter trips.

Todd, My family and I had an amazing time! Capt Todd made the outing really enjoyable and memorable. He has a clear passion for fishing, knows the area is extremelt well, and ensured it was a relaxing afternoon of fishing for all of us. We caught mangove snapper, sheepshead, flounder and jack. It’s easy to see why he has been so successful for over a decade.
Miguel and family, was. fantastic day. fishing could have been better but the company was great.
Highly recommend- captain was prompt and professional and while we tried for some big fish offshore - we only caught a bunch of small ones. So we went off the jetties and caught four big redfish - each over 30”. Capitan fave is some extra time too which was great. Highly recommend!

I began fishing the flats and backwaters of Florida over 20 years ago. I have lived in Florida since 2008 and spend over 200 days a year on the water in the Mosquito Lagoon and North Indian River areas. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and fishing is one of my earliest memories. After my time in the Navy and college, I went to work for Lamiglas, Inc. as a rod/blank designer. Lamiglas is one of the Northwest’s largest fishing rod manufacturers. After 20 years of designing rods for Lamiglas, I moved to Florida, where I have been designing rod-building components and equipment, along with rod blanks, for Mud Hole Custom Tackle.
