If you’re looking for a fishing charter that actually puts you on fish, stop looking and book with Captain Steve and first mate Lake at Black Flag Company. We ran about 25 miles offshore and from the moment the lines hit the water it was game on. We hammered red snapper, vermilion snapper, and triggerfish, and also landed red grouper, blue runners, almaco jack, amberjack, bonita, squirrelfish, and lizardfish. We even had a few fish stolen by hungry barracuda and lost another when a bull shark decided it wanted dinner before we did! The best part, though, wasn’t just the incredible fishing, it was the experience. This was a father-son trip with 3 dads and 3 sons, and Captain Steve and Lake made it one of the most memorable days any of us have ever had. They helped everyone catch fish and made sure everyone on the boat had a great time. Bent rods, sore arms, fish limits, and memories we’ll be talking about for years. this will be one we will never forget. If you want to catch fish and have an absolute blast doing it, Black Flag Company is the only call you need to make!

I have done many charters before, but I have never scheduled one the day before. With less than a days notice Captain Stephen took us out and got our request for snapper filled with a quickness. We got the 5 hour trolling/bottom fishing option. Once we got to the spot we capped out on red snapper within about 15 min. After that we hit a few more spots for some bonus bottom catches. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

Had an awesome trip with Black Flag Company in Orange Beach! The captain and crew were professional, friendly, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time on the water. They were knowledgeable, kept us on fish, and made the entire experience fun from start to finish. The boat was clean, organized, and everything was handled first class. Captain Stephen and his deckhand were great. We had bad weather the day of and the day after our original trip date but he was able to get us in 2 days after for great fishing. They made sure we always had lines in the water and were super informative. We were able to limit out on red snapper and caught some other fish as well to take home. We had an absolutely incredible time on our charter fishing trip! From the moment we stepped on the boat, the captain and crew made us feel welcome, comfortable, and ready for a great day on the water. They were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, they made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The crew took the time to explain techniques, help with baiting and reeling, and made sure everyone had a chance to catch something. And the fishing did not disappoint—we caught plenty, had some exciting fights, and created memories we won’t forget anytime soon. On top of that, the views and overall atmosphere out on the water were just amazing. If you’re thinking about booking a fishing charter, don’t hesitate—this was worth every penny. First time doing a fisin trip on. smaller center console boat. was told by several that onceyou have done it, you would not want to go back to a bigger boat. They were right. Moves much faster, got to our fishing spot 20+ mles out within an hour, caught our limit on Red snapper within 45 minutes, spent the rest of the trip tearing up Vermilion snapper, Red Grouper, and even Amberjack which unfortunately were not in season. I book alot of charters all over from texas to Florida and this is definitely in my top 5 favorites. we traveled in from Houston and went fishing with stephen we had a great time caught alot of fish. will definitely book again when we return! these guys are some of the most knowledgeable fishermen ive ever had the pleasure of ripping lips with.

First time offshore fishing was a success! 4 of us limited out on Red Snapper, along with some bonus Spanish Mackerel! The captain was knowledgeable and been doing this for quite some time, he knew just where to go, and deck hand was killin it. Filleted it all up for us to put right on the grill! Only regret is not doing a full day! Hit these guys up!

We took a 5 hr trip, weather was perfect, captain and deckhand were super friend ky, knowledgeable and efficient. We had a group of 6- 3 adults and 3 teens. Everyone got to experience several catches each. We saw flying fish, dolphins and a sea turtle. We all had a great time and came home with dinner! Will book again if we come back.
