There's a fish with your name on it in Orange Beach and Emerald "C" Fishing Charters will help you catch it! With Captain Craig at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Cobia, Black Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Sheepshead, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Yellowmouth Grouper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, and whatever else takes the bait. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Craig runs a 31' Cape Horn center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Emerald "C" Fishing Charters is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

What an epic trip we had. It was our first trip offshore and Captain Garrett and first mate Jayden did not disappoint! We dodged some storms rolling in on our way out to 14 miles offshore and caught Vermillion snapper from the first drop. My stepdaughter also got caught a Scamp Grouper and I got a Amberjack. Too bad they weren’t in season. Next we moved onto another spot where there were some Barracudas in the area. We each got one. So much fun watching them take the bait. Lastly we did some trolling for Bonita. Got two of them and a couple Spainish Mackerel as well. Captain Garrett and Jayden being local guys that grew up here were extremely knowledgeable and super easy to get along with. Captain Garrett is my new go to guy from now on. I will definitely be booking with him and Emerald C charters again!

We had the BEST time with Emerald “C” Fishing Charters II! This was everyone’s first deep sea fishing trip except my husband’s, and now we’re hooked. Captain Garrett was the best!! He stayed calm the whole time, worked hard to keep us on fish, and was amazing with our kids. He made the whole experience so much fun! Every single one of us caught multiple fish, including amberjack, red snapper, ruby reds, and even a soapfish! It was such an unforgettable day, and we made memories we’ll be talking about for years. We will 100% be booking with Captain Garrett again. I can’t recommend him enough! 🎣🐟🌊
We caught our limit in red snapper we also brought back a few V-line snapper. We also caught three Amberjacks one was 50 inches and the others were about 36 inches. Captain Garrett is a hell of a captain he put us on top of some big fish. He let you fish he showed you how to do it and demonstrated it. When the fish was on if there was something you needed to do or fix to get the fish in all you had to do is listen to him. I will always book with Garrett for now on when we are down in Pensacola Alabama area. Thanks Garrett for giving me and my wife a great experience.
We booked a trip for three generations to have an unforgettable day fishing. Emerald C delivered just that! Captain Gavin and his deckhand Jayden were very professional and kept us fishing the entire time. Both recognized those with a bit of experience, and were extremely patient with the ones that didn’t. They gave excellent instructions on the multiple approaches we used to catch fish. We caught fish…so many fish. Little fish. Big fish. Keeper fish. Bait fish. PR fish, and the smallest Ruby Lips you’ve ever seen! Book a trip! You won’t regret it.

Captain Noah provided for a fantastic overall afternoon on the water with our family. He put us on the snapper and was quick to make adjustments as conditions changed with the bites to make sure we were not just pulling in anything, but pulling in what we wanted. Noah was great to chat with on the trips out and back, but also did a great job of teaching and showing the right way to land saltwater fish. For those of us used to bass fishing, don’t set the hook! We had a great time Noah and will plan to be back when we’re in the area!
