The vast expanse of Lake Erie is something to behold. Get out on the water with First Due Charters and explore these stunning fishing grounds all the while reeling in some huge, impressive fish.

Spending every summer weekend on the lake as a child, Captain Greg Shadler got his first boat at age 15 and has spent every free second he has on the water ever since. Let him show you his experience as he helps you reel in a boatload.

Discover the riches of this Great Lake aboard a 29' Penn Yan offshore sportfishing boat. With plenty of space for up to 6 people to fish at the same time, she's a comfortable, spacious vessel. She possesses all you need for a fun day on the water, with a toilet and bed for your convenience, along with a fridge to keep your food and drinks cool.

She's also got you covered when it comes to the fishing. Fitted with outriggers and downriggers, you'll troll with plenty of lines to lure your prey. Keep your bait fresh in the onboard livewell, and let the first mate help you with anything you need and you're ready to go.

As well as trolling, you'll have the chance to jig as you drift across the water. You decide which species you'd like to go after, as Capt. Greg tailors his trips to each individual species, so you're in for a personalized tour. From beautiful and tasty Yellow Perch to huge and delicious Walleye, these waters will make all your fishing dreams come true.

Capt. Greg would love for every customer to book again with him, so he'll go out of his way to make sure that you're having fun. He'll even clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day for you to take home, ready to cook. There's nothing left for you to do but grab your fishing license and hop aboard. Get ready for a thrilling experience, exploring Erie's greatness.

I was introduced to Lake Erie Walleye fishing and Lake Michigan Salmon fishing 42 years ago by my father, we spent every weekend in the summer fishing Lake Erie for Walleye and made several trips a year to Lake Michigan to chase Salmon. He taught me how to catch and clean fish but more importantly safe boating. When I turned 15 I bought my first boat and spent every free minute on the water. When I turned 21 I joined the fire department, I became a FF/EMT and shortly after became a rescuediver on the Dive team. My home port is on the Western basin of Lake Erie where I target Walleye and Perch. I head to Lake Ontario out of Olcott, NY in May, July and August to target Salmon. I'm now a career FF/ Paramedic/ Rescue diver and run charters on my off time from the fire department.
