These waters are known for Walleye, Yellow Perch, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites!

Capt. Wes runs the Eye-Sniper, a 40’ Judge Yachts pilothouse that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
