You’ll spend the day on board a 25’ Argos center console. This boat is fresh out on the water in 2017 and boasts a 60 HP Suzuki engine.
The fish here are varied and great fun to catch. Depending on which trip you choose, you can go from targeting Mahi Mahi, sailfish, tuna and Wahoo, to Grouper, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and more. There is a fish for every experience level, whether you are trolling or bottom fishing.
Everyone is welcome on board. Children over 3 will have a great time (please note, there are 2 life vests available for children under 10) and will have some great stories to tell their friends back at school.

For everyone else, rods and reels are provided. Top-of-the-line gear from Penn International will make sure you have the best chance to reel in your trophy fish.
Plan B Charters will also supply food and drink for the day. They’ve taken all the worry out of planning a fishing charter, and have included everything you could need. After the trip they will also fillet your catch – you only need to think about how to cook your delicious haul!

Incredible experience

8 Hour Trip on February 18, 2026 • 2 adults

I booked an 8 hour trip for my 15 yr old son and my husband - both keen anglers. My son's goal was to catch a Sailfish and I let Alberto know this beforehand. Alberto was very responsive in communicating before the trip and even helped sort out transport from the hotel to the dock area. The actual fishing has given them memories for a lifetime. Alberto and Luis delivered not just one, but three huge Sailfish along with a few Bonito for good measure. They described the trip as a pure fishing experience. The boat was fast and efficient, the equipment was good and Alberto and Luis were clearly talented and experienced fishermen, as well as being great company. Food and drink provided was spot on too. If there were more stars available to give to this trip, they would give them all - they both described it as one of the best days of their lives.

4 Hour Trip – Lagoon Fishing on September 30, 2025 • 2 adults

No complaints here! We went out to the lagoon for some easy fishing so my fiance would not get sea sick and we were pleasently surprised. Our Captain not only fished with us, we had awesome conversations, learned more about fishing, took us to multiple spots, and was very understanding. We had hoped to catch snook and a baracuda and we did just that with a lucky sea trout as well! The Captain cleaned all of our fish and it was prepared at a local resaurant, it was delicious and would definitely recommend to others to do the same! We hope to go deep sea fishing next time we visit to catch some more colorful and unique fish now because of our awesome experience with our Captain!

Plan B, best plan ever!

Alberto is a service focused fisherman and captain. We originally scheduled our trip for Wednesday the 18th but he saw the weather was going to be too rough to go so he contacted me the day prior and asked if i could reschedule. Far too often, ive had guides not care and would have taken my money and fished in a back bay… Alberto knew we wanted our chance at fishing offshore, so we made it work by pushing to the next day. We had a great trip, 4 nice Mahi and a barracuda. I know who Im fishing with the next time im in Cancun! Plan B is a center console 25' panga with a 200hp suzuki outboard. Nice rods and reels. Alberto and his mate did all the work to get on the fish and insure we reeled them in! I sincerely recommend Plan B if you dont need the comforts of a cabin cruiser.

Great inshore fishing

The captain is very enthusiastic and professional. Excellent English and Spanish. We went inshore fishing for snook and he knows where they are. Snook are not easy to catch, but we managed to land several. Captain is extremely patient and I recommend this trip for someone with young children. Captain is also concerned with sustainability, which is really important. The boat is in great shape and can fit 3 anglers with no problems. The only small issue was being able to find the marina. It is located in a large shopping center which has a parking garage which only accepts pesos as payment. Recommend that you either take a taxi or have pesos to pay the parking machines.
