Join the experienced crew aboard their incredible Panga for a fun day of sporting fishing and relaxing on the water. La Rana Cancun Sportfishing offers private or shared fishing trips so you can enjoy the day with your family and/or friends. They are located in Cancun Hotel Zone; easily accessible by bus or free parking if driving. Tours are within 10 to 15 minutes from the marina to ensure optimal fishing time.
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 2018 26´ Yamaha Imemsa Panga, equipped with 100 HP Yamaha engine, Bluetooth speakers, comfy cushioned leather-covered seats, and an ice box for cool refreshing beverages and snacks. She can carry up to 4 guests comfortably, with all of them fishing at the same time.
It won’t take more than 15 minutes till you reach your fishing spot and have your lines in the water. You’ll stay in calm waters and target Snapper, Grouper, Permit, Snook, Cobia, and other species. All fishing equipment is covered.
La Rana Cancun Tours is a fully licensed and insured tour operator with over 15 years of experience in the Industry. They ensure the upmost level of safety for their guests.

Busy Day on La Rana

It was a beautiful, busy morning on La Rana with Captain Rene. He put us on fish almost immediately… red grouper, parrotfish, blue striped grunt, white grunt, and a parrotfish. 13-15 fish during our sunny 4 hour session. Rene was a helpful guide and made it an easy morning hauling in the fish.

We had a wonderful experience with Rene. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We caught plenty of fish and moved around to several different locations. The sea was very flat and the boat was enjoyable. Highly recommend for a calm fishing experience for all levels.

Captain Rene got us on fish the first time we dropped our line in the water and every spot we fished in. We caught Grint, Red Snapper and grouper off the bottom. We trolled the last portion of the trip and caught a 3'+ Barracuda. Highlight of my whole vacation. Highly recommend La Rana Cancun Sportfishing.

We had a great morning trip with Captain Rene. He was very accommodating and personable. Good conversation and his English is very good, if that's important to you. We had a fish on within a minute of dropping the first line and Rene was very attentive, helping our 7 year old son frequently. Be advised, there's no first mate so the captain is doing everything for the boat and the passengers. If you have more than one member of your party that will need assistance, he might be stretched a little thin with other responsibilities considered. We caught Grunts, Yellowtail, a Triggerfish and a Barracuda. My wife and son both got a little seasick and there was rain headed our way, so Rene graciously allowed us to cut our outing short. Overall it was a success and Rene was an awesome captain for us! Pricing was appropriate as well. Absolutely recommend.
