Next, we give accurate trip reports. If the bite stinks we tell you. If the weather stinks we tell you. One trip a day is our norm. Why? We go at the BEST part of tide. We go at the best part of the day. We look at wind direction and speeds. We know when boat traffic will be heavy and disturb a safe and enjoyable trip. In other words, you fish when WE would fish with our family and friends. In short, the entire fishing charter is catered and designed for THE BEST opportunities, weather and fun for your party. Period!
Capt. Chris’s boat is a center console, so you can fish 360 degrees. It has a large T-top (shade if needed), an extra Sunbrella sunscreen cover for the stern (if requested), a rear bench seat, Spotify music, VHF radio, and two fish-finders. Fishing gear consists of Penn reels, Tsunami rods and Yo-Zuri braid. (A special gear upgrade trip can be purchased.)
Charter trips usually consist of traveling calm waters behind Ocean City, Longport, Margate, and Somers Point. Some trips will even go up the Tuckahoe and Great Egg Harbor Rivers. If we see dolphins and you want pics, we’ll stop and follow. Everyone loves dolphins!
Note: For safety and liability, infants can not board the boat.

We had a fantastic fishing trip for my husband’s birthday! The captain was kind, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. My husband and his friends had a great time being out on the water, enjoying the experience, and catching a few fish along the way. It was a fun, memorable trip, and we truly appreciate the captain’s professionalism and hospitality. We would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day of fishing. 🎣🎉
Hi, Cherub! I enjoyed having the Birthday Men on the boat! I could tell they had a passion for fishing and each other’s friendship. That’s the essence of a good fishing trip - bonding. Don’t get me wrong…catching is fun, too! But, we started with a fine weather day and I explained a lot of fishing tips. No doubt, this was a great start for saltwater fishing. I think they realized fish don’t hook themselves, as you got to get a feel for the bite and timing your hookset. With being best friends, some reggae music, full sun and a few cold Coronas, it was surely a memorable trip. (I loved the t-shirts, by the way.) I look forward to seeing your crew back on the boat!!! We had a great fiest time fishing. The kids absolutely enjoyed. The 2 hour trip was just enough. We got lucky and had a overcast day and we were able to catch fish. We did not get to keep any due to size but we were happy with catch and release. Captain Chris was super friendly and very knowledgeable and good with communication.

My family and I went on this fishing excursion with Captain Chris, and it was such a great experience. We all caught fish, and Captain Chris was so personable. He taught us a lot about the flounder fishing process and industry. He also made us feel safe and comfortable as he ensured us a fun filled trip! Top notch. :)

I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to have a nice laid back time and learn about fishing and the area. We caught a few sharks, one which was only a couple pounds short of the record in the area. Chris is super knowledgeable and extremely easy to get along with. A really great guy who showed us a great time!
Thank you so much!! You’re a great couple and I enjoyed fishing with you, both. First, the weather was superb. While the flounder were elusive, we managed a nearly 17 pound DOG-ZILLA!!!! (I had it on my scale.) It was the largest EVER boated on the Wee Cat! We did catch a few more doggies, too. On light gear, these doggies offer one helluva fight. My son started panicking shortly into our trip and desperately wanted off the boat. Mike worked to try to calm him and when that didnt work he happily dropped him and my mother off and took the rest of us back off to ensure the rest of us could enjoy our full time! He was so understanding and kind.
Hi, Laurie! My goal is to ensure everyone is safe and happy, so when adjustments need and can be made, I gladly make them for everyone’s benefit. No worries…that’s my experience working for your party of five. I was excited to see you, your daughter and husband reel in some flounder and also get a few hits. Like any other sport, timing is key - you just figure it out with experience. We had a beautiful day, with beautiful green water (seeing 5’ down) and caught several flounder and a large Clear-Nosed Skate. It was a pleasure have Nan and Finn on the boat, too.
