We look at wind direction and speed. We look at water clarity. We know when boat traffic will be heavy and disturb a safe and enjoyable trip. In other words, you fish when WE would fish with our family and friends. Your entire fishing charter is catered and designed for THE BEST opportunities, the BEST weather and the MOST fun for you! Capt. Chris’s boat is a center console (CC) with T-Top (you can hide from Sun on hot days). On a CC, you can fish 360 degrees. It has a large T-top (w/extra Sunbrella sunscreen cover for the stern (if requested), a rear bench seat, Spotify music, VHF radio, and two fish-finders. Fishing gear consists of Penn reels, Tsunami rods and Yo-Zuri braid.
Charter trips usually consist of traveling calm waters behind Ocean City, Longport, Margate, and Somers Point. Some trip options (seasonal) will even go up the Tuckahoe and Great Egg Harbor Rivers. If we see dolphins and you want pics, say the word and we’ll stop and follow. Everyone loves dolphins!!!! 🐬❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Captain Chris was great. He was timely, communicated really well, and was very flexible working through our start time. I took my 13-year-old son and his buddy, and the goal was simple—get the kids some action and catch fish. Mission accomplished. We had a fun, efficient two hours with plenty of action and fish caught. Chris made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. Exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.
Awesome trip, Greg! A two hour trip is a short time, but we accomplished a lot of catching. We ventured into the ocean (and caught) and we fished the inlet (and caught). Species boated: Croakers, Black Sea Bass, Kingfish and Flounder. Everyone had a blast! You and the boys were excellent company and I enjoyed our conversations! It was a fantastic trip! We booked a 2 hour charter with Capt. Chris and had a great time! He adjusted our trip time to better accommodate the tides and weather, made sure our kids (11&14) were equipped with everything they needed, and helped them when they caught fish! He was very informative and talked with us on our trip, explaining everything he was doing. He also ensured the safety of my children in the rougher waters, which I really appreciated. We caught flounder, sea bass, sea robin, and a little shark! Ovetall it was a great time and I highly recommend Capt. Chris and Wee Cat Charters! 🦈🎣

I took my son, grandson and son in law out with Captain Chris. We had a fantastic time. We caught lots of fish. Caption Chris was very knowledgeable, kept us well informed on how to catch fish etc. His fishing boat was well equipped, very clean and safety was very important to him. He made us very comfortable. We had a fantastic fishing trip for my husband’s birthday! The captain was kind, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. My husband and his friends had a great time being out on the water, enjoying the experience, and catching a few fish along the way. Hi, Cherub! I enjoyed having the Birthday Men on the boat! I could tell they had a passion for fishing and each other’s friendship. That’s the essence of a good fishing trip - bonding. Don’t get me wrong…catching is fun, too! But, we started with a fine weather day and I explained a lot of fishing tips. No doubt, this was a great start for saltwater fishing. I think they realized fish don’t hook themselves, as you got to get a feel for the bite and timing your hookset. With being best friends, some reggae music, full sun and a few cold Coronas, it was surely a memorable trip. (I loved the t-shirts, by the way.) I look forward to seeing your crew back on the boat!!! Captain Chris is a retired police officer, US Air Force Vet (serving active duty time in Qatar and flying as 'Raven' security to places like Afghanistan, Pakistan and UAE, after 9-11) former adjunct English professor, works with special needs children and NJ K-5 certified teacher. Experience! Captain Chris has been raised near saltwater and knows Ocean City fishing area like the back of his hand. He fishes for Striped Bass in the back waters of Egg Harbor River to White Marlin in the canyons 100 miles out. Capt. Chris wants to give you a great fishing trip at a reasonable cost.
