Captain Jarad 'Dingo' Boshammer of Dingo's Fishing Adventures invites you for an incredible day exploring the waters near Jupiter, Florida. Originally from Australia, Dingo has been a world traveling captain for over 20 years. He has now settled down in what he considers to be one of the best sportfishing and family destinations in the world. Experience customized fly and sportfishing charters for all levels of experience!
Dingo wants to share the amazing experience of fishing on his 18' custom-made Chittum Islamorada flats boat powered by a Yamaha 4-stroke engine. This vessel utilizes a proprietary laminate to absorb sound and to maximize the weight-to-strength ratio, combined with high-temperature cure aerospace grade epoxy, core-cell foam, s-core foam, s-glass, e-glass, Nomex, carbon fiber, and Kevlar.
These materials are the same type used to build the stealth fighter, stealth bomber, America's Cup sailboats, high-end custom yachts, and even high-speed military attack boats with speeds of 100 mph and above.
Captain Dingo specializes in fishing the Loxahatchee River. This area boasts some of the best Giant Snook fishing anywhere in the world. Dingo is obsessed with targeting these amazing sportfish on fly and conventional tackle. Giant Snook can be caught every month of the year.
There are various other great locations to fish within a few hour's drive – Chokoloskee, Everglades National Park, Biscayne Bay, Florida Keys, Lake Ida, and Lake Okeechobee are all within reach. There are quite a few species to target in South Florida.
Make sure to ask Dingo what is in season and he will give you the best chance possible of having a great time on the water. Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Permit, Bonefish, Tripletail, Jack Crevalle, False Albacore, Barracuda, Snapper, Peacock Bass, Clown Knife Fish, and Largemouth Bass are among the main targets.

Left Burt Reynolds dock at noon. Went up the Loxahatchee River and targeted snook. Captain Jarad's flats boat was immaculate. His side scan sonar is state of the art. You could pick out the schools of snook easily as well as the occasional small bull shark. The snook weren't biting on live finger mullet so we switched to sinking, vibrating lures. Got a huge hit as the lure dropped. After a great fight, especially near the boat, I caught it. Finally caught my trophy snook. 35" so it was just over the slot limit. Captain Jarad revived it and was released to fight another day.

First let me tell you I grew up fishing snook at Jupiter inlet as a kid. Lets just say it been (alot of) years since i been fishing. I cannot say enough about Dingo, he did not care that I had very little experience snook fishing. He was very happy answering all my stupid and endless questions. He had the very best boat, bait, equipment, endless patience (lol) with me making a lot of mistakes. Sorry about your rod guide and rub rail mate! He is seriously THE best Capt. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and help me catch a lot of snook. I seriously can't wait to book with him again.

Both his grandfather and father were fishermen – his father had offshore and inshore charter boats in Australia. When Jarad graduated from school, he went out to the Great Barrier Reef to chase giant Black Marlin. He then traveled all around the world and fished about 20 different countries, and now he lives in Florida. He came back to his grass roots – fishing flats and backcountry. His favorite place for inshore and backcountry fishing is Florida and for offshore The Great Barrier Reef. Captain Jarad is also an accomplished tournament angler – he won the Bermuda Triple Crown Tournament with 1023 lb Blue Marlin.
