Captain Drake grew up fishing the local marshes, and now as a full time guide targets Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Bass, and Flounder on a daily basis. The goal each and every day is to give people the fishing trip of a lifetime.
A trip with Victory Bay means you'll be riding in style on a spacious 25' Blue Wave bay boat. With plenty of space and comfortable seats, this modern vessel is equipped with all the necessary electronics to make catching fish easier. It's the perfect vessel for pursuing Redfish in the shallows, or safely working the open water for Speckled Trout.
After a morning of catching, Captain Drake will clean and bag your fish to your preference. All the ice you need to keep your fillets fresh on your journey home will be provided at no additional cost. Kids aged 4 and above are welcome and vests in all sizes are provided. Bottled water is available on board. Bring your own snacks and any drinks you want to keep your energy up.

Captain Drake is a patient and great teacher. We caught plenty of fish!! The boat has the latest tech and the vibes were amazing. We are already booking our next trip witb him!!
Captain Drake was great. We booked a 4 hour trip and he put us on some great fish. We had a blast and will be bringing home a bunch of fillets. Drake went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. Highly recommend Captain Drake. We would love to do it again.

Captain Drake is a professional in every way. This was by far the best charter experience we have ever had!
My dad, two brothers, and myself spent two full days fishing with Captain Drake. He called the day before our trip to discuss weather conditions and let us know the first day could be tough due to wind conditions. Fortunately, when we showed up conditions were better than expected and we ended up having a great day taking home 40+ fish. My dad and brothers all hooked into 20+ lb black drum at the same time which was awesome! The second day started off with higher winds than expected but Capt. Drake still put us on fish and we ended up taking 50+ home. We caught a bit of everything but primarily speckled trout, redfish, and black drum. I would highly recommend Captain Drake and will definitely be calling him for future trips. He was fun, conversational, and extremely knowledgeable.

Growing up in the 80's I was blessed to experience countless fishing adventures out of our camp on Lake Pontchartrain. Many years of spending several days a week on the water from sun up to sun down helped me learn, on my own, the patterns of our wide variety of fish species here as well as tidal and wind effects on their behavior. Louisiana has such an incredible fishery and over time I realized sharing what we have is extremely fun! In 2017 I left a 15 year career in customer service to start a full time guide service. In short time an impressive amount of repeat business was established. Giving customers the fishing trip of a lifetime is the goal each and every day.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
