Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge, Boca Chica, Panamá

With Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge, you’ll find yourself wishing you could stay forever. Launching out of Boca Chica with Captain Shane Jarvis and his first mate, you will be able to enjoy the finest angling opportunities this paradise has to offer.

From incredible inshore fishing right at your doorstep for Cubera Snapper, Roosterfish, and Almaco Jack to an epic Marlin and Tuna action at nearby Hannibal Bank, there is a trip for you. You will be able to try your hand at popping and jigging, using live or dead bait, as well as artificials.

The lodge is completely “off the grid” and is located inside Panama’s Gulf of Chiriqui National Marine Park. It’s right in the center of over 25 nationally protected islands that make up the Paridas Archipelago! There are no roads, no stores – just a tropical paradise that is 12 miles from Boca Chica. Take a look at the pictures of the houses!

Your boat for the day will be the ‘Scandalous,’ a 25’ Sea Craft center console with twin 150 HP Suzuki engines. She will be fully outfitted with everything you need for a productive day out on the water.

Premium sportfishing packages include all meals, accommodation, and transportation to/from the airport and to/from Isla Parida.

Captain Shane Jarvis first came to Panama back in 1999. He wanted to see what the fuss was all about since he had heard all of the great stories about incredible catches and abundant waters of the Gulf of Chiriqui. An avid recreational fisherman and outdoorsman from Florida, Shane was hooked. His father decided to buy a property on the island, which Shane helped to build. Since 2005, his lodge has been providing guests with the perfect opportunities to leave all the problems behind and catch big fish.
