Captain Michael Bodiford grew up fishing the same waters he now runs charters on. He loves the area, loves the fishing here, and loves sharing it with anglers of any age or experience level. From seasoned pros to young kids, he will get everyone reeling in fish during your time onboard.
Spend the day aboard a 21' Pro Master bay boat. Fully restored in 2017, she can carry 4 guests in comfort and comes equipped with everything you need for a fun, productive charter. There's an ice box for your drinks and a full array of safety gear to keep your trip worry-free. You're also never far from a toilet, so you can spend the day in comfort.
The boat is perfectly designed for exploring these waters in search of big fish. Her GPS combines with the captain's extensive local knowledge to get you to the best spots in no time. Her livewell keeps your bait fighting fit until it goes in the water. Add in a versatile build that's as home on the flats as a few miles into the Gulf, and you're ready for anything.
Capt. Michael offers specialist trips targeting Scallops and Tripletail. Scalloping trips are great for kids and families, as you can get into the water to swim and snorkel as you fill the boat with delicious shellfish. Tripletail is Capt. Michael's signature species and are some of the tastiest eating out there.

Captain is very knowledgeable of the area, helping get that big catch. Due to wind we started in one area & when we didn’t have any bites we moved to a further spot. The boat ride was a bonus, it was beautiful out there on the water. It was a fun morning, everyone caught fish, with my daughters being the largest.

After a bit of a slow start on a full moon and strong current day we finally got on the Triple Tail and boated a couple keepers including one really nice one for dinner. Capt Mike knows the area waters well and just does not give up finding you the fish! Feel confident you are good hands. I will be fishing with him again on our next trip!

Had a great time. We caught a couple of small grouper and flounder. Had to release them. Caught 8 Mangrove snapper that were keepers. Will book another trip in the future.

Captain Michael Bodiford is a real, old school local guide who was born and raised right here in Port St Joe. He has been fishing his whole life and has always known he wanted to work on the water. Capt. Michael loves taking customers out and showing them a good time. He loves working with kids, teaching them to fish and seeing the smile on their faces as they reel in their first fish. Capt. Michael specializes in targeting Tripletail, Redfish, and Trout.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
