As the fall approaches, so does the golden Chinook season in Tillamook Bay, and it would be a shame not to make the most of it. Captain Eric Baird of Play N Hooky Guide Service is in the know of the awesome fishery in these parts, and he makes it his business to take you out and show you a good time on the water.
Come aboard captain's 26' Willie Raptor boat fully equipped to take you to the red-hot Salmon bite of the day. She'll easily make her way through the waves thanks to the twin 225 HP Yamaha engines, and what's more, she can accommodate up to 6 anglers excited to start off their next catching expedition.
Capt. Eric will provide all the fishing equipment you'll use on your 8-hour trip, so you don't need to worry about rods, reels, or terminal tackle. Another great perk is that whatever you catch, you will bring home cleaned and filleted so that you can enjoy the fruits of your hard work as soon as you can get close to a stove.
If you'd like to fish with Capt. Eric for more than one day and fill your freezer with fish fillets, he can arrange accommodation in his beach house, for an additional charge of $50 per day. Decide how long you'd like to fish and stay in Garibaldi, and Capt. Eric will take care of everything else.
In September and October, waters of Tillamook Bay are abundant in fall Chinook, as well as Coho Salmon, and your captain will organize a trip that will allow you to test your skills and luck. This is the best chance to hook something colossal on these waters, so cast your line and wait.
You're welcome to come with a close group of angling buddies and see who will have the biggest catch of the day. If you'd prefer to come with your family, that's perfectly fine too, Capt. Erics is fond of having kids on board, and he has appropriate life jackets for them.

The trip was great. Both my wife and I reeled in a Coho.
it was great having you guys !!
Captain provided clear and ample information to ensure this became the trip of our lifetime. We never fished for salmon before and after clear instructions given prior to the trip we reeled in our limit within a few hours. Besides catching a super size Chinook we also saw various whales, seals, sea otters and Dungenous crabs. A never to forget great trip.

Captain Eric and deck hand Ryan were awesome!! We caught our fish and had a great time! We also got some 🦀. Captain Eric took care of everything including, filleting our salmon,cooking, cleaning and packing our catch! We will be back and also send some friends your way! Thanks for a great day!

This was a surprise trip for my husband. We both had a great time. Caught some fish and crab. Next time I will be sure to bring the dramamine!
