Cap’n Bobby quickly responded to our questions prior to the trip, usually within a few minutes. He was extremely helpful during our prep phase. On the day of our trip, all gear was ready and in working order and our crew worked diligently to have everything ready before we made our first stop out of the harbor. The captain and crew were friendly, helpful and expertly responsive throughout our trip. Cap’n Bobby put us on fish, too! All the anglers on board limited on halibut and rock fish within a few hours and the crew was quick to respond to any anglers’ needs. I will definitely book again with this charter and crew-absolutely amazing time.

We had an unforgettable day on The Renegade! Captain Tony and his hands Trendan and Brac were phenominal. They were feiendly, fun to talk to, and knew how to find the fish. They busted their butts all day but were still patience with everyone, including our 11, 9, and 6 year old kids. Captain Tony stopped in a spot he never had before and we struck gold. My fishing fanatic 9 year old son hooked a 143 pound halibut and my husband helped him bring it in. The crew gave all the instruction and encouragement to help bring the monster in. It was the first fish of the day!! The boat brought in many more halibut, rock fish, cod, walleye, sharks, and even an octopus that I think we were all happy came of the hook before making it to the boat. This is truly a trip we will remeber for the rest of our lives. Thanks you for making our Alaska fishing dreams come true!!

I went out for two days with Captains Bobbie and Tony and Mate Peyton. Everything was great at the start of May 2026. They are a fishing machine. Captain Bobbie on one morning before departure explained to the eight of us that the weather did not look good. We could not possibly go out to the ocean and would probably not go very far into the bay. He was blunt and offered everyone a full refund if they did not want to risk a rough ride. No one backed out. The weather cooperated a little and I got the most fish I have ever caught on a ten-hour jaunt like this one. If anyone is planning a fishing trip to Seward, contact Captain Bobbie as soon as you know your possible dates. Their boats are max of 50' and fill up quick. They also were great at filleting my cod, pollack and halibut perfectly and they carried it to the processor for vacuum packing, boxing and freezing for my flight home. Overall wonderful experience and only regret is that I did not have another two (or three or four) days to go out with them again. John Cignatta

6/18/2026 We had an exciting day on the water, the views were amazing and abundant! Whales, Puffins, Seals, Porpoises, Glaciers. Then the excitement of catching fish, our grandsons caught their limit of Halibut, as well as a variety of different species if fish…. our group all caught the limit. The crew Trenton, and Brac were attentive and on the spot and very personable, and made it super fun!!! Thank You Captain Tony for putting us on the fish and helping with everyone too!! We will definitely be back to do this again, probably with an even bigger group…next year!!!

Great crew! Captain Bobby and (Dorothy)...hahaha....were Awesome! They put us on the fish all day. Got our limits on the entire boat for Halibut and Black Rockfish. . Bonus to hit some Ling Cod, Silver Salmon, Yellow Eye Rockfish. Im a lifelong Alaskan, and been on the water fishing for most of my life here. Been on many "chartered fishing boats" during that time and by far these guys were top notch for the entire experience. Would recommend to everyone!

Captain Tony and deckhand Connor were absolutely amazing!! Our party consisted of 6 adults and 6 kids ages 4-11. They found us the fish and everyone was busy reeling. On our journey from fishing spots we got bonus views of puffins, whale, sea lions, glacier and glacier ice. We were the lucky ones to have such a great captain and deckhand with their knowledge, experience and personalities. Would definitely recommend Saltwater Safari to anyone! The entire crew was focused on our success. We had people like me who had never fished and very experienced anglers and the crew kept all of us happy. We stayed out until everyone had caught their limit of halibut and many had salmon, rockfish and other kinds of fish. We also were very near a pod of orcas and saw sea otters and dolphins and bald eagles. Highly recommend for any level of experience

We had the best day! We took our two boys who are 11 and 15 and did the 10 hour trip. It was perfect. The weather was amazing which made huge difference but the crew was so helpful and easy-going. They took care of everything and we had a blast catching lots of fish. We caught halibut and rockfish and salmon. We would recommend it to anyone and will definitely come back and do it again.

I have to say, while the current was roughh, Tony still put us on the fish. The 2 deck hands were awesome as well. They were very attentive to those who needed it. The music, LOL!!! They were playing early 70s and 80s music. Great job Cory!! I would highly recommend this crew and charter to anyone.

Had a great time fishing, we caught a limit of Halibut and Black Rock Fish, then caughr several Cod to finish the trip. Great teamwork from the Captain and Deck Hand, they made sure everyone had a great fishing experience!!!
