You've probably heard of the amazing Corpus Christi fishery, and with Gojoe 1 and Captain Joe Salas at the helm, you will get a chance to explore it. Your guide has been fishing in the area for over two decades and he's ready to take out excited anglers to the best fishing grounds.
With a plethora of species that could find their way to your line and a friendly knowledgeable captain to lead the way, you're in for a productive day on the water. Go after the inshore VIPs and come home with a mixed bag of catch. You will be targeting anything from Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder to King Mackerel, Cobia, and Blacktip Shark.
You will be using quality rods, Penn reels, and lures will also be provided. At the end of your expedition, the captain will clean and fillet the catch for you, so that you don't have to go through that hassle.
Whether you choose a half-day or a full-day trip, you will need a reliable boat to take you to that red-hot bite. Captain Joe's 25' Sundance center console is freshly restored in 2018 and outfitted with a 200 HP Suzuki engine which makes her stable and swift. There's room for up to 6 people on board to cast their lines and test their luck, and the fishfinder will increase your odds of getting to the best fish quickly. Depending on what you want to catch, you will be traveling to the site anywhere from 5-30 minutes.
Trips with Gojoe 1 are suitable for novices and seasoned anglers alike, there's more than enough thrill and fish for every level. Capt. Joe welcomes kids aboard, just remember to pack their favorite life vest. Bring your fishing license, favorite snacks, and drinks and head out to a new inshore fishing adventure!

Captain Joe was great! he took time to message and call us ahead of time to get to know us and what we were looking for in our fishing adventures. the pick up location was perfect. during the charter he continously made sure we were taken care of. we caught lots of different kinds of fish. at the end of our time he cleaned our fish. highly recommend Joe!

A fishing charter with Joe was my Christmas present to my boyfriend! My boyfriend is an experienced fisherman, however I’m a complete beginner. We both had the best time. Joe was extremely helpful, fun to talk to, and we both caught a ton of fish! We highly recommend Joe and will definitely fish with him again.

First time fishing in TX. Captain Joe was friendly and easy to talk with. He put us on fish at the first stop and it continued at the other spots. We caught Shephead, Reds, Black Drum, and Trout. 3 people in our group had not fished on a charter before and are now hooked! It was a winning day for everyone!!

fun trip, Joe took us out with our teenage boys to catch whatever was biting. we caught a variety of small stuff, and a decent black drum. Joe is great with beginners and very patient and helpful.
