Zander Ray On The Bay 

Went out with Capt. Alex last week and due to the extreme heat we had been having in Corpus, my expextations were not very high. I just wanted to get on the water and spend some quality time with the family. Let me tell you, it was a grind to get the fish we caught, but Capt. Alex made sure he was prepared for every possible scenario. We fished the top, then the bottom, then back on top, and back on bottom. He had 3 types of live bait and even a bit of dead bait which we used. Capt. Alex was amazing at getting us on the fish we caught. He was patient and took the time to teach everyone on how to cast and catch fish. He had water and gatorade for us, his boat was clean , and he had some of the best gear I have seen so far. This is my 4th charter and now I know why he has 5 star reviews. This will be my go to Capt. far all future inshore charters. Thank you for an amazing time Capt. Alex, everyone had fun for the exception of that trout I turned into Ceviche!!!!

Captain Zander was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the fish ans helpful with teaching us the correct way to catch them. We did hit a rain storm we had to wait out and even after he took us back out and helped us limit out. Amazing experience and would definitely book again.

Caught 24lbs of fish on a slow day. Alex did an excellent job finding fish and knew where all the good spots were. He is an excellent teacher for our first time fishing for drum fish, but we also caught several other species of fish. My girl caught the motherload, and I caught a lady. It was easy to coordinate trip details with him. He was a great buddies and talkative. He helped us get our fish cleaned and bagged and told us about some great restaurants that would cook our catch. Zander is a cool dude.

My 3 nephews and I booked an am trip with Captain Alex. He was super informative and helped my nephews perfect their skills. While the morning started off slow, Captain Alex worked hard constantly searching to put us on the fish. As the day progressed we started catching more and more. Towards the end he spotted schools of Reds and we all were catching good sized ones. On top of the reds, we caught some trout and drum. Amazing experience and will hopefully be lucky enough to book him on our next trip to Port A.

Alex was great to fish with; he was knowledgeable about where and how to fish. He had us casting like pros by the end of the trip. He was quick with new bait and a line repair when needed. We caught 9 keeper reds and we threw back just as many that were just under the required size. We got back to dock late and Alex cleaned our catch and gave us helpful suggestions on how to cook and prep the fillets. If we get the opportunity again we would book with Alex without hesitation. We had a great time!
