Operating out of Riviera Beach, Florida, Papa Bear's Fishing Charters is in prime position to take you on a deep sea adventure. Captain Rudy Neumann has been fishing these waters for over 3 decades and knows what it takes to provide a reel-screaming fishing experience!
Capt. Rudy fishes with his son Michael, the first mate. This dynamic duo caters to their customers' requests while staying in tune with the fishing conditions on the day. Rudy began this charter company in memory of his dad – he hopes to pass the love of fishing his father instilled into him onto his customers.
They will guide you through the full range of sportfishing techniques available on Florida's famous east coast. Whether you want to kite fish for Sailfish, bottom fish or drift over the reefs and wrecks, they'll walk you through the experience.
Your trip will take place aboard a 30 " Pursuit Offshore boat. This classic vessel has ample space for up to 4 anglers fishing at once. Fitted with serious fishing amenities, a hard top, and seating, this boat will let you get the best of offshore and nearshore fishing. The enclosed restroom and kitchen mean even longer trips will be comfortable.
You'll be provided with quality rods and reels by Penn and Shimano. Lures are also included in the price, and quality live bait is available for an extra fee. You'll also find light snacks and drinks waiting for you, so all you need bring is any additional food and drinks.
You can also have your catch mounted, for an additional cost. Capt. Rudy can make a small replica of your catch, or make a life-size mount based on measurements of the fish. To view replicas and fish mounts go to photos and videos! Each angler will also receive a small gift and you'll also have an opportunity to purchase a T-shirt if you wish.

We had such a great time on our fishing trip with Papa Bear Charters!!! Michael & Neil are so friendly and they helped my husband & I and our son with fishing! These guys are the best of any fishing charter in the area! It was like spending the day with family! Our son caught a 40” King Fish in the first few minutes and I caught a large Barracuda; we caught many other fish, including a grouper! Papa Bear Fishing are the best!!!

Captain Mike was great to fish with. i felt like i was fishing with one of my fishing buddies I’ve known for ever. he is very knowledgeable and works his ass off to put you on fish. Me and my sons are avid fishermen and know the difference between an okay captain amd a good one, captian Mike is a good one so do not hesitate to give him a chance!!
Mike was a great captain and guide. Took my son out, who had his mind set on Mahi. We caught some mid size tuna and amberjack and looked like we might run out of time to land a Mahi, but Mike took us to one more spot and my son hooked a 20 pounder. Mike talked him through the fight and now we’re having Mahi for dinner. Awesome trip!!

Rudy and Mike were top notch in every aspect. From the start of the trip they made sure we were comfortable and ready to get on the fish. And we did catching Rainbow, Black tip sharks, King fish and others. The entire 8 hr trip the lines were out all baited and ready. Again I can't thank Rudy and Mike enough for a great trip my kids will remember for a lifetime. We will definitely be back!!!

In my early childhood, my father brought me fishing as a small child. Ever since I can remember I enjoyed the fishing experience that my father gave to me. I had my first boat when I was 16 years old. Since then I have had boats as big as 32'. I began this family business as a tribute to my dad who passed away a few months before I was able to do so. I have named the business after him as he was known as Papa Bear to all his children and grandchildren, thus Papa Bear's Fishing Charters. I have my son Michael as my first mate and fishing companion. I have always loved being out on the water fishing with my family that is why I became a charter captain so I can pass this on to other people to enjoy. I fish out of lake worth inlet and target areas from the breakers hotel to Jupiter Inlet. We offer a variety of trips from 4 hours to 8 hours. The 6 hour and 8 hour trips include some trolling for mahi and tuna. The 4 hour trips are for bottom fishing the reefs and wrecks. I also give the option to troll on these trips for an extra 100 fuel allowance due to the increase in fuel costs. This will give an hour of trolling outside the reefs for game fish like mahi, tuna, sailfish, kingfish and wahoo. We also offer live bait fishing at an additional cost. This technique involves kite fishing, or slow trolling ,and or drifting baits at a variety of depths. We are trying to entice something big to come hit one of the baits that the fish are use to seeing out there. One thing we guarantee is that you will have a fun filled experience with us and we will do our best to put you on fish that you will reel in yourself. Book a trip with us and come have a great time.
