Capt. Rick is a proven sport fishing tournament winning captain and will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4, 5, 6, and 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for sportfish such as
Dolphin, Wahoo, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Cobia, and Barracuda, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, kite fishing, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 33-ft Contender boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with all rods, reels, an ice-box, all tackle and gear .
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

The other captains in the area were sharing info and we had the best spot of the morning. Caught two kings and had several other bites without a snag. 4 Hour Trip on June 20, 2025 • 5 adults • 2 childrenMy little family and I came from Ohio and decided to try and have a fishing trip. Captain Ryan did not disappoint. Plenty of info ranging from weather outlook to what type of shoes should be worn were sent out the day before our trip. Ryan and the owner were both incredible gentlemen when we first showed up. Ryan showed both his knowledge of fishing in general and how much research he did for the day. The first spot we went to had multiple bites and we only left because a shark started circling and we were worried he would start stealing our bites. Ended the day with multiple bonitos and a massive black fin tuna. All in all it was an amazing trip and the professionalism and knowledge was on full display all day!

Been on a few charters over the years and they were all a little different. This one targeted sport fish just as advertised (you won't be baiting small chinks of dead fish and casting for bottom fish (grouper) or little guys. You WILL be targeting sailfish, mahi, kingfish, etc. P.S. - NO BANANAS First catch of the day was my 14 year old son who got a sailfish!! Amazing to see leaping out of the water! Knowledgeable captain who explained some sport fishing techniques, history of the area, and how tournaments are run and scored. Overall, a great learning opportunity for the boys and even myself as an amateur angler.

Had a great time on our trip with Captain Rick. Fishing conditions on the water weren't ideal, but Captain Rick was still able to put us on some nice Kings, and get us hooked up to a big sailfish for a great fight.

Captain Rick started fishing Bass tournaments at the tender age of 10 and has also fished from piers, seawalls, and drift boats. He is super passionate about fishing and loves being on the water and just enjoying the beautiful views of nature. Capt. Rick became a fisherman because for him it's a true adrenaline rush. He loves to teach and see people learn and catch fish. The captain also fishes the local tournament circuit for Sailfish and other pelagics, and has placed against some of the best talents in the world. He says: 'Fishing is very addictive, so I guess you can say it's an addiction and a challenge.'
