Capt. J.R. specializes in flounder gigging, and that's what you can expect on the day of your trip. You can also do a bit of spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, drifting, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Capt. J.R. will provide gigs for you and your group, just come prepared to take aim!

Fish that are legal to harvest are yours to take home. Capt. J.R. can even clean your catch for you so it's easy to cook. That's dinner, right there! Capt. J.R. will guide you through the local waters aboard a 24' Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers.
Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock, rain or shine.
This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring the whole family along and pack any snacks or extra clothing they need. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you'll have to bring your own.

Very friendly and conversational. Worked diligently to put us on fish. Caught them on bait and artificials, he was spot on in choosing which to use for my son and I. He would have been good to spend time on the water with even if we hadn’t caught 40+ fish.

Couldn’t have asked for a better captain. JR was great put us on the fish, caught some good trout took to restaurant down the street and they cooked for us blackened style. My son had the best time!! Can’t stop talking about it. 5 stars!!
