Midtown Fishing Charters is a full time Lake Erie walleye and steelhead charter. Captains Danny and John have been fishing Erie their entire lives and take pride in showing our guests the joys of catching Lake Erie walleye and steelhead on our beautiful great lake.
The walleye population is strong right now and catching our limit is the norm. 25+ inch walleye are common. We provide free fish cleaning immediately after the charter so there is no wait and you can be on your way with limited downtime.
We are just 5 minutes east of downtown Cleveland, conveniently located for anyone visiting the area.

This was my second charter with Captain Danny and Midtown Fishing Charters, and as with the first time it was fantastic. Captain Danny is great - friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. He proactivley updated us on weather conditions. He moved to multiple spots where we landed 15 walleye. The three of us were very happy with the experience which exceeded our expectations. I would go with Captain Danny again and highly recommend him to anyone interested in catching a lot of fish! Thank you!!
We had a great afternoon on Lake Erie with Captain Dan! Dan’s boat and equipment were perfect for me and my sons. We had good success catching walleye along with a couple of other species. Dan was knowledgable about the area and fishing the lake. Highly recommend Midtown Fishing Charters!
It was on time and we got to our spot in 25 minutes or less. We got our limit and all three of us in the party caught our limit with very nice fish. And we went home with very nice butterflies. I highly recommend going out with Daniel. Jim Deidrick
Perfect day. We cau nice fish, but more importantly, spent time with family. Captain was awesome and very attentive. He read everyone's comfort level very well and was very personable. Fish were cleaned very well.
Dan was a great capitan and very cordial to my whole group. He called eveyone by name and knew exactly where to go for the Walleye. His trip included the cost of cleaning fish and he did it with speed. I definitely recommend MidTown Carters and Captain Dan for your next charter.

Then while continuing to fish our Great Lake he began fly fishing the Lake Erie tributaries and targeting other species like Smallmouth Bass, Pike, and Muskie.
