Lucky Buck Fishing – Oneida
Oneida Lake, located in Bridgeport, has the unique honor of being the largest lake in the New York state area. If you’ve never associated New York with freshwater fishing before, Captain Robert “Buck” Carter is here to change your mind! Join him aboard Lucky Buck Fishing Charters – as a lifelong fisherman and experienced charter operator, he’s perfectly equipped to show you just what these fishing grounds have to offer!
Capt. Buck is a local New Yorker who moved to the Florida Keys at the age of 21, where he owned his own fleet of charter boats. He moved back to New York, as he missed the fantastic freshwater fishing opportunities that can be found here. Now, he uses his years of knowledge and experience to provide guests with incredible Walleye trips. He knows the waters of Oneida Lake like the back of his hand – when the Walleye are biting, he knows exactly where to go!
You’ll be cruising the lake on board a 25’ Carolina center console. She’s perfectly built to provide a comfortable journey to the hotspots for up to 4 guests. Guests of all skill levels are welcome, as well as children from 10 years and up, so bring your family or best angling buddies along! Your vessel is decked out with top-of-the-line navigational gear, life jackets for all ages, a cooler to store your catch, and a wireless trolling motor for sneaking up on the fish.
Capt. Buck’s Oneida Lake adventures specialize in targeting that freshwater favorite, Walleye, using a variety of top techniques. Once you’ve reached your Walleye limit, you’ll have the chance to go after other world-famous freshwater fish, including Largemouth Bass, Landlocked Salmon, and a variety of Trout. Your captain will show you his unique “dropping” technique for Trout, too – this can land up to 50 fish a trip!
Your trip includes top-notch rods and reels, bait, and tackle. All you need to bring is a fishing license. Come aboard Lucky Buck Fishing Charters and get ready for a freshwater adventure on Oneida Lake!
