Killer Hook Sport Fishing

Boulevard Paseo de La Marina, Cabo San Lucas, BS 23468, Mexico

See for yourself why Cabo San Lucas is home to the most prestigious Marlin tournament in the world. Escape the crowded beaches on the open ocean. Home to massive Billfish and a range of delicious species, the Pacific Ocean is sure to blow you away. Captain Rafael Green is a local to Cabo with 15 years of experience running charters. He can’t wait to show you the area’s hot spots and get you reeling in some huge fish.

Head out to sea aboard a magnificent 30’ California sport fishing boat. Restored in 2023, she possesses all the features necessary for a successful day on the water. With a fishfinder, GPS, livewell, tuna tubes, and outriggers, you’ll have the edge as you try to entice the fish’s bite. There’s plenty of space for up to 6 anglers, and you’ll have the wind in your hair as you whizz off to the open waters thanks to the 225 HP Cummin engine.

You don’t have to go far to find huge fish. Catch Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, and huge Mahi Mahi just a mile offshore. Try trolling the tops with live bait to entice the bite and jump up at the sound of the screeching reels. Prepare for an intense fight to get these monsters aboard, so make use of the fighting chair to keep your balance. A prize for any angler, all Billfish must be released, but you can take the delicious Mahi and Tuna back to shore.

Take your catch to a local restaurant and extend your day long into the night. The whole family is welcome aboard, so get the kids hooked on fishing and create some everlasting memories. With Killer Hook Sport Fishing, you’re in for a fun-filled day and an incredible experience. Explore the wondrous world beneath the seas and prepare to be wowed. If you’re in Cabo, you can’t afford to miss this chance!

What a great day, we had! Both the Captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and experienced. They were great at spotting Marlin on the open water, and they knew exactly how to put us on them. Unfortunately we lost a 250-300 pound Blue Marlin as it snapped the line, but we reeled in a 115 lb striped Marlin as well as a really nice Mahi Mahi. The experience was more than worth the cost of the trip!

Great crew and trip but beware

Half Day Trip on January 19, 2025

Our crew, Jaime and Felipe, were wonderful! But from arriving at dock area that morning until we actually got on boat, we had to pay at every point just to get onto dock to reach the boat. A guy met us, NOT Captain Rafael, to take us to purchase licenses which were more than what one actually costs. Later found out they only cost $15. We paid $20 per fisher. This “guy” pocketed the money and didn’t even pay the girl who issued us the licenses. Seems scammy. Then we had to pay to get ONTO dock area, $1 each person. At this point we finally met Captain Rafael and he connected us with our 2 man crew. After pushing off dock and heading out of harbor, we passed a live bait boat. Had to pay them $20 if we wanted live bait. We chose not to as it was supposed to be included in our charter! Felt like we had already been nickeled and dimed at this point. It worked out fine as the crew took us to great spots and we were able to catch several bonito, skipper jacks and Amberjack with lures. It turned out to be a great day with the crew and I highly recommend them. Just didn’t appreciate being taken advantage of on way to actual boat.

Wonderful experience! I landed 4 Tunas and a striped Blue Marlin on my 5 hr. Trip where 2 of those hours were spent coming and going. Boat staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would do this again!

The captain and crew were so professional and kind. They answered any questions we had and were so helpful making sure we had the opportunity to land a fish. The ocean was rough but we still had a great time.

Good Day on the water

VERIFIED

Half Day Trip on April 16, 2025

It was a good day on the water, fishing was ok that day. Crew could do a bit better making sure equipment is set up and ready to fish. The boat was clean, safe and crew was friendly. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.
