Killer Hook Sport Fishing 

What a great day, we had! Both the Captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and experienced. They were great at spotting Marlin on the open water, and they knew exactly how to put us on them. Unfortunately we lost a 250-300 pound Blue Marlin as it snapped the line, but we reeled in a 115 lb striped Marlin as well as a really nice Mahi Mahi. The experience was more than worth the cost of the trip!

Our crew, Jaime and Felipe, were wonderful! But from arriving at dock area that morning until we actually got on boat, we had to pay at every point just to get onto dock to reach the boat. A guy met us, NOT Captain Rafael, to take us to purchase licenses which were more than what one actually costs. Later found out they only cost $15. We paid $20 per fisher. This “guy” pocketed the money and didn’t even pay the girl who issued us the licenses. Seems scammy. Then we had to pay to get ONTO dock area, $1 each person. At this point we finally met Captain Rafael and he connected us with our 2 man crew. After pushing off dock and heading out of harbor, we passed a live bait boat. Had to pay them $20 if we wanted live bait. We chose not to as it was supposed to be included in our charter! Felt like we had already been nickeled and dimed at this point. It worked out fine as the crew took us to great spots and we were able to catch several bonito, skipper jacks and Amberjack with lures. It turned out to be a great day with the crew and I highly recommend them. Just didn’t appreciate being taken advantage of on way to actual boat.

Wonderful experience! I landed 4 Tunas and a striped Blue Marlin on my 5 hr. Trip where 2 of those hours were spent coming and going. Boat staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would do this again!

I booked on line only going off reviews and price. I was contacted early, met on time, treated like I was fishing with a group of friends. It was my 10 year old daughter and myself. First fish was the Dorado (mine)..next...a 140# Blue Marlin, my daughter started on him and we finished it together. Gawd what a Fish....It was like a fantasy... Last was the Tuna...my daughter again...lol... They took great care of us and watched after her and her needs like she belonged to them. A dad couldn't have asked for more I would recommend them to anyone, been to Cabo a few times and this was my first fishing trip. I can't wait to come back.. When I do, they will be taking us out...

Fantastic day on the water!! As soon as we left the harbor we hit dorado. We trolled up the coast and didn’t see much for an hour and then hooked 2 big marlins. About an hour later our captain found a school of porpoise and put us in the middle of a school of tuna.. what a thrill!! We could not stop catching tuna until we caught our limit. We could not have been happier with our crew Capitán Luis and first mate Manuel!! I have no doubt we picked the best boat to take us out!! Our crew spoiled us and we caught more fish than any other boat in the harbor. Captain Luis knew right where to get us on the fish we wanted and Manuel never stopped getting after the fish. Can’t recommend this pair any more!

It was a good day on the water, fishing was ok that day. Crew could do a bit better making sure equipment is set up and ready to fish. The boat was clean, safe and crew was friendly. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

Had an outstanding half day trip aboard the Oh Yeah on May 7th. The captain met us at the pier and had us on the water fishing in no time. The crew worked extremely hard the entire 5 hours to get us on the fish. We caught a dozen or so bonito and skipjack before moving out a bit to try for the bigger sport fish. I was half expecting a 5 hour sight-seeing tour with a few lines in the water but the crew worked non-stop to put fish on the deck. We had several action-packed opportunities with spotting and stalking marlin before getting one on the deck at the end. The boat is in need of a little upkeep but everything worked fine and the fishing gear was flawless. Definitely recommend Rafael and the crew of the Oh Yeah.

Rafael, the boat owner, was very communicative and answered all of my questions pre-trip. A huge thunderstorm rolled through very early in the morning we were set to go out, which closed the port until 8:30am. Rafael kept in communication and allowed us to make it out at 9:30am after the port re-opened. We were still able to fish a full day instead of cancelling which was awesome. The crew who took us out were very knowledgeable and friendly, and worked hard to find fish. The warmer water had moved out, so we didn't see any Tuna but did have a Mahi on the line for a while before it threw the hook. Late in the day, we were fortunate to hook into a striped marlin and landed it after about 20-25 minutes. Overall, a fun day on the water with tons of whales, dolphins and turtles spotted. Would definitely book this boat and crew again.

We had a great time! Caught several bonitas. And a nice sized stripped Marlin. The crew was on it. Constantly trying different things to get on the fish. Couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Highly recommend these folks. You could tell there out there to fish, but have fun too! Thanks guys. Hope to see you soon

Our goal was to have a memorable day catching fish and the crew of the OH MY certainly delivered. They kept an eye out for opportunities and were able to quickly change the bait and presentation to suit the situation. They really hustled to get fish on the line and worked as a team to get fish the line and in the boat. Everyone in our party had a good experience catching something and we brought home plenty of fish to eat and a lovely Marlin to mount. At the end of the day our boat had more flags than any other we saw. There may be fancier boats but there is certainly not a better crew.
