Florida Native Fishing Co. is a well-established nearshore guide service that has been successfully putting fishermen and families on solid rod-bending action, island hopping, sightseeing, and much more for many years. Capt. Kyle Howard is a USCG licensed guide that loves spending each day on the water. He's great at teaching people how to fish, so everyone leaves his boat with a new skill.
Capt. Kyle specializes in nearshore fishing and this is where you will spend most of your fishing time. Your main targets will be Redfish, Flounder, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, or Snapper. Capt. Kyle has mastered light tackle with live bait and you will mostly catch fish using this technique.
You will fish from a 24' Pathfinder center console. The boat accommodates up to 4 guests and everyone aboard can fish in comfort at the same time. The boat is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine that can reach an amazing speed of 50 knots.
Your captain will prepare your fishing equipment, live bait, etc. You can bring your food and other beverages, there's enough space in the cooler. You can keep the fish you catch and Capt. Kyle will clean and fillet it for you after the trip.

Capt Kyle was fantastic! Kept us on fish all day .
Our group had an absolute blast out on the water with Captain Kyle. He is extremely knowledgeable on these waters and took us to some great spots. We got to experience catching a wide variety - spotted sea trout, red snapper, sea bass, grouper, flounder, sheepshead, sea cats. We got ourselves hung up a fair amount of times, lost our bait countless times, and Kyle got us back in the water in no time. He is a pro at using the currents to his advantage to give his group the best shot at pulling in a nice haul. A full day or even a half day is a long time to spend on a boat with a stranger, but Kyle is so easy to get along with and made us feel right at home, and we won’t be using another guide when we come back down. Our wives are officially sick of us talking about this trip, but we will until the next one. Whether a family with kids or a group of guys, I would highly recommend Captain Kyle to anyone who is looking for a great time on the water.
Captain Kyle took care of all our needs from the moment we got on the boat. Kyle set us up with the equipment and bait that was needed. We had three people on the boat and Kyle never skipped a beat between baiting hooks, to taking fish off our lines, and re-baiting our hooks getting us back in the water to catch more fish!

Kyle was fantastic. He’s very personable which is extremely important. I’ve been with guides who are not much fun and that makes for a long day. Kyle was great to be in a boat with, worked hard, and fortunately for us he got us on some fish even though conditions weren’t the best. Next time we’re in Clearwater we’’ll definitely be fishing with him. Would recommend fishing with him
