Six Shooter Charters operates out of Pensacola, FL, offering a range of trips targeting all the Gulf’s top species. Florida’s Emerald Coast is famous throughout the country for its amazing food fishing, with vibrant reefs full of delicious table fare. The area also boasts incredible sport fishing for those willing to make the journey.

Hit the local reefs for Mangrove Snapper, Triggerfish, and Mackerel, or head further out for Red and Vermillion Snappers, Amberjack, Grouper, and much, much more. Up for even more of a challenge? Head to the very heart of the Gulf of Mexico to battle Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and the ultimate bluewater beast – Marlin.

You will be fishing aboard a 39 foot Topaz Royale air conditioned sportfishing yacht. The boat can carry up to six anglers, and cruises at a speedy 21 knots to get you to the best spots in no time. Don’t worry about a bumpy ride, though, her massive size makes her rock-steady both on the move and at anchor.

You will have a choice of light and heavy tackle to use on your trip, with live bait fresh from the tank and a range of lifelike lures. Depending on the trip, you could be trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, or even spearfishing.

You don’t need to be an expert to fish with Six Shooter Charters. Families and children are always welcome. You will have a skilled first mate working alongside you all trip to make sure you stay hooked up, and he will even fillet your fish for you at the end of the day. Just remember to bring ziplock bags and a cooler to put all your tasty fish in.

Absolutely GREAT TRIP!!!

3/4 Day Trip – Bottom Fishing on July 23, 2025 • 5 adults

I chose The Six Shooters because of the reviews and they knocked it out of the park⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Captain Evan was very knowledgeable, and knew how to fish. It was late in the season and the past two weeks it’s been sub par because of the weather. WE STILL caught a limit, I asked Captain Doug, the Owner, to let me know ahead of time if the weather was going to be bad and he contacted me 2 days, and the day before to let me know we were gonna beat the weather. My wife is 7 months pregnant, Captain Doug called me the night before to let me know the generator was broke down, and that they would be working on it through the night to make sure we had A/C. THIS CAPTAIN BOUGHT A BRAND NEW GENERATOR, so that my wife and family would not go without A/C. They went above and beyond any expectations for us. A great deck hand, a great captain, a GREAT DAY of fishing!

8 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing on September 15, 2025 • 2 adults

Captain Evan and First Mate John did everything possible to make sure we had a fantastic trip. We caught a variety of fish, including some big enough to wear me out. We went on an 8 hour trip and those guys worked hard every minute to make sure we had a great time. Even though it made the fishing harder we enjoyed seeing the dolphins that surfaced dozens of times close to the boat. We will definitely fish with these guys again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great fishing trip in Pensacola.

3/4 Day Trip – Bottom Fishing on August 28, 2025 • 2 adults

Can't say enough good things about our fishing trip. The captain took us straight to the fish, we didn't have to hunt for them. The captain told us eactly how much line to let out and what type of fished we'd be catching. We caught Tigger Fish, Red Snapper and Vermillion Snapper. There was no standing around waiting on the fish to bite, we caught non-stop fish. Non sooner than our line reached the captains suggested fishing depth, we were getting bites. We had an action packed trip. The 1st mate worked his tail off to keep our lines baited. We never had to touch the bait or fish. We quickly limited out, but easily caught twice as many fish as we could keep. Would definitely book another trip with this crew.

Half Day Trip (AM) – Trolling on July 8, 2025 • 6 adults

If you're looking for a fishing trip that delivers more than just a cooler full of fish, Six Shooters in Pensacola, FL is the real deal. Captain Evan and crew member Jon Jon were top-notch—friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. They communicated everything clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable, especially our teenagers—some of whom had never fished a day in their lives. It wasn't just a trip, it was a learning experience, and they went out of their way to make it memorable. Captain Evan was determined to get us on fish and keep us there. Jon Jon was encouraging, upbeat, and fun to be around—both were incredibly accommodating. From the moment we stepped on the boat to the final catch, we felt like we were in great hands. Whether you're a seasoned angler or brand new to fishing, this crew will make sure you have a blast. Highly recommend!

What a great time!!!

8 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing on June 2, 2025 • 2 adults

Our 8 hour trip out with Six Shooters was totally AWESOME!!! My wife and I went out on June 2, 2025. Red snapper season had just come in and we caught our limit with most being decent size and one was definitely on the larger size. We also caught our share of vermillion and white snappers. The excitement for me though was hooking into and finally landing a large Bonita. Put up a great fight!!! We then headed back into port and trolled but didn’t have luck with that. All in all we had a fantastic day. Captain Evan got on top of some primo spots and we kept first mate John busy. The captain(s) and crew were quite helpful and considerate to us newbies. They also told us where to go to have our fresh fish cooked for supper and the taste of that red snapper was outstanding!!! You won’t be disappointed with booking a trip on this boat with this crew!!!
