They are a skilled and knowledgeable crew with over 20 years of combined experience. Nauti Ventures offers half day, 3/4 day, and full day adventures with both inshore and offshore trips available.
Join them aboard the 42’ Luhrs boat. This beauty combines the best of both worlds – the comfort of a luxurious yacht and top professional fishing gadgets. It features twin 430 HP Cummins engines, a flybridge, outriggers, tuna tubes, a fighting chair, a livewell, and an ice-box.
Just add a restroom with a shower, a kitchen, beds, air conditioning, and many other goodies on top of that, and get ready for the ultimate experience on the water. The boat can comfortably carry up to 10 anglers fishing at the same time.
Quepos waters are famous for all kinds of Marlin, as well as Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, and Sailfish. Offshore trips usually take place 25 to 40 miles from the coast. In addition to the aforementioned deep-sea species, you’ll also get to target the likes of Roosterfish, Amberjack, and Snapper, depending on the fishing location and your preferences.
You’ll be supplied with top-tier fishing gear, mostly by Shimano, as well as live bait and lures. Fly fishing is also an option if you bring your own gear. Fishing licenses are easily purchased at the marina for only $16 per person per day. Just bring some sunscreen and sunglasses, and Nauti Ventures will take care of everything else.

Unforgettable Day on the Water with Nauti Ventures! We had an absolutely incredible day fishing with Nauti Ventures in Costa Rica! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The crew knew exactly where the fish were—we were pulling them in all day long! It was nonstop action, and every moment was a thrill. The team on board was not only professional and skilled but also super friendly and helpful. You could tell they were passionate about what they do, and their knowledge of the local waters made all the difference. Whether it was baiting hooks, giving tips, or celebrating each catch, they were on it. If (or rather when) we come back to Costa Rica, there’s no question—we’re booking with Nauti Ventures again. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun, productive, and expertly guided day on the ocean.

3/4 Day offshore Fishing Trip
3 sailfish.
We left dock at 0700. Sailfish on line at 0805, landed 0817. Mind you along the way out Capt Eric stopped to allow us to see 3 whales. Before 10 we had 3 large sailfish landed. Afterwards we went on to fill our freezer with tuna and mahi. My family, each and every person caught as much as they wanted. To call this trip blessed is an understatement. Thanks to Jesus Christ, the Captain & Crew and all who assisted in putting this together. Pura vida!

3/4 Day offshore Fishing Trip
Life long dream fulfilled thanks to Nauti Venture’s Crew
From beginning to end our experience with this company was wonderful. The owner contacted us immediately after booking and explained the process to us. I made a huge mistake with the dates but they were so kind and accommodating and fixed everything for us. His crew was stellar and very professional but still making you feel comfortable at all times. My dad’s dream has always been to fish in CR and catch a sailfish. Well, the crew made it happen for him and he was so excited. The boat was fully equipped with all the gear necessary to have a productive day out. The crew worked nonstop to facilitate things for us. We got 2 large sailfish and a nice looking tuna. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in deep sea fishing in Costa Rica.

3/4 Day offshore Fishing Trip
Great Crew = Great Trip
We only caught 2 fish on a 7 hour trip but the crew worked so hard it was no their fault. It was fishing. They tried everything they could including staying out and extra hour. I couldn't believe they were apologizing. They were the best. It was a huge full moon the night before and the sea was like a bathtub..We still caught a really nice sailfish and the tastiest tuna I've ever had. It was a Great trip. My wife (who has never been deep sea fishing loved it. There were hundreds of spinner dolphin mixed with the tuna and it was a sight to see she was so happy. I would definitely love to fish with Nauti again soon.

3/4 Day offshore Fishing Trip
Hooked on this crew!
My husband and our friend went out for 3/4 day charter Captn Eric & deck crew Aaron & Sarah. My goal was to catch tuna. Unfortunately that didn’t happen but I did catch a beautiful sailfish! We hit on pod after pod of dolphins. Hundreds of them!! The crew kept changing the bait. They are one of the hardest working crews I have ever fished with. They were prepared, knowledgeable, alert and eager to help us get tuna. captn E definitely turned us on to it. But hey that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching, right?!?! And catching that sailfish was better than anything I’ve ever caught and I would take that any day over tuna! Bobby who was our contact person prior to the trip was super helpful and even answered other travel questions about CR that I had. Anyway I would book with them again and you should, too!!!!

We only caught 2 fish on a 7 hour trip but the crew worked so hard it was no their fault. It was fishing. They tried everything they could including staying out and extra hour. My husband and our friend went out for 3/4 day charter Captn Eric & deck crew Aaron & Sarah. My goal was to catch tuna. Unfortunately that didn’t happen but I did catch a beautiful sailfish!
