The trip was a success.  We hooked 8 sailfish amd brought three to the boat.  The captain and crew (Brandon and Harold) and were ready for us, helpful, and worked hard all day in the heat to get us fish.  They prepared great snacks and lunch.  Brandon was quick as a cat when the fish were on and Harold was on top of his game.  Harold prepared.the food along with fishing duties.  Vittles were great amd served with a bit of panache.  They had plenty of drinks and we drank lots of soda and water.  We were happy with the experience.  The only reason I didn’t leave five stars is it our first time and have nothing other to compare it to.  I would book with them again.

We vacationed in Costa Rica for many reasons, but one of the main ones was to experience the great off-shore fishing.  And boy are we glad we did!  There were 6 of us with lots of in-shore fishing experience back home, but little to no off-shore fishing experience.  Captain Alberto and his first mates, Allan and Denny, were terrific.  They worked super hard to put us on the fish even though it was a slow day according to them.  Early on we hooked into a sailfish, and by end of the day had caught 2 Mahi Mahi, caught and released a nice Blue Marlin(approx. 350 lbs.), 1 Bonita, and about 6-8 sharks.  We saw another 3-4 Blue Marlin but just couldn’t get them to bite.  Nauti Ventures was an excellent boat with plenty of room for the 6 of us.  There were times all 6 of us were outside on the stern and then times where we enjoyed the airconditioned inside cabin.  Drinks and a delicious lunch were provided!  I don’t know when we will get back to Coats Rica again, but when we do, Nauti Ventures will certainly be in our plans!

In the morning a little slow but the afternoon was spectacular. We caught some big dolphin and the captain and his crew moved around to find a big school of tuna. They actually gave us a addition 1 hour of time to crush it. They filleted all the fish and bagged them in ice. They even made us fresh sushi!
Best Charter Ever! All the locals told us go to Queda Instead of Jaco because it was over fished. The extra hour and half was worth it! Simple Amazing! Boat had air and bathrooms for the women! Prefect!  The manager who set up the whole deal Carlo was amazing and spoke perfect english. We lived in the states for almost 10 years . Great guy!

The boat and gear were great and the crew was awesome. They put out a great spread trying to grab us a marlin. We had a small one hit early that got away. They did their best changing up rigs trying to hook another. After a slow morning they changed up and put us on some very active tuna for a couple hours. We pulled in 7 nice ones before the captain suggested going back to try for some mahi or marlin again. Still no luck on those but relaxing in the air conditioned cabin with a few beers was a pretty great end to the day.

11/10 experience with this crew. Both mates and captain were lights out. Captain put us on the fish both days, the mates’ enthusiasm, execution, and hustle were nonstop. Would send anyone to book a day with these guys. Thank you for 2 trips of a life time. We hauled in a 75 lb Mahi, fought a marlin for 3 hours, and caught 6 sail fish the next day. I plan on fishing with them again in the future! Pura Vida on this boat! Owner followed up with me both days to check on how things rolled, everyone top to bottom were fantastic from start to finish.
