No Worries Fishing Charters specializes in providing an amazing fishing experience in the South Puget Sound area. The Puget Sound is known for its Flounder, Lingcod, and Salmon, but there's much more to it. The abundance of wildlife goes beyond fish and you're likely to see sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises, and depending on the time of year, even humpback whales or orcas.
Captain Lorenzo St Luce runs trips from March to October on his 26 ft Hewescraft Ocean Pro, can book up 4 and possibly 6 but need to call first. The boat is powered by a 360 HP Mercury engine and equipped with necessary navigational and safety gear.
Salmon is at the top of the target list for this area and there are many species to choose from. In winter you have the best chances of catching Blackmouth Salmon, while in summer you can target Chinook (King Salmon), Coho, Chum, and Pink Salmon. When you're not going after Salmon, you can go bottom fishing for Flounder, and Lingcod.
Capt. Lorenzo will provide rods and reels, bait, water, and also clean your catch after the trip. The only thing you need to bring is a positive attitude, while the only thing you should not bring are bananas, since they're bad luck!

Let me be honest with you: I was not the hero of this fishing trip. I booked an afternoon charter with Captain Lorenzo St. Luce at No Worries Fishing Charters out of Port Orchard — a 1pm departure on Puget Sound, blue sky, great company. The third member of our crew was a young man whose wife gifted him this trip for his birthday, which is already a great story. What none of us planned for was that somewhere around hour two, my motion sickness patches and acupressure bracelets staged a coordinated walkout and left me absolutely green on the back deck. Captain Lorenzo didn’t skip a beat. He adjusted, kept the lines working, and — alongside our birthday boy, who turned out to be an absolute natural — made sure I still got my limit of Coho. Together, they slayed the Sound. Six Chinook Kings caught and released. A full Coho limit. And — I still can’t fully explain this — a dogfish shark on a salmon jig. Lorenzo runs a 26-foot Hewescraft Ocean Pro with a 360 HP Mercury engine, provides all rods, reels, bait, tackle, and cleans your fish at the end. He’s USCG licensed, calm under pressure, and the kind of guide who makes every person on the boat feel taken care of — including the one who’s basically useless by hour two. The birthday boy’s wife made an excellent call. Lorenzo made it count. Five stars. No worries — even when you’ve got all the worries.

The ride was beautiful and freeing. we were in a position to see all 4 mountains surrounding the sound! (Rainier, Baker, Adams (I believe), and the Olympics...all with snowy caps even though it was perfectly warm out). Hits were slow to start, but Captain Lorenzo was dedicated to finding us a good spot, calling around to his community. Before we knew it we were getting hits left and right!! Great vibes, 10/10 would recommend. 🙂↕️

What could’ve been a chilly disappointment turned into a lesson in perseverance, thanks to Captain Lorenzo’s relentless effort. He constantly adjusted depths, searched for bait, and kept the boat moving, ensuring we stayed engaged and hopeful all morning. When our time was officially up, rather than hightail it back to the dock empty-handed, he decided to chase one more spot. Even there, we had no luck. But right at the very end, we hooked a fat 36″ king salmon. The fish put up such a hard fight it was all worth it, and when that fish finally hit the deck, we all cheered like we’d won the Super Bowl in double overtime. My daughter, who’d started the morning cold and uncertain, was now fully engaged and thrilled to watch it all unfold. These guys literally went the extra mile. If you want dedication and results, book Captain Lorenzo and the No Worries. You won’t regret it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Captain Lorenzo is great! My 8 year old and I we’re visiting Seattle and had never been salmon fishing. Lorenzo was Fanta wiyh my son and put us on a lot of fish and we easily hit our bag limit for coho salmon! if only it was as easy to get all this delicious food home.

captain Lorenzo did an excellent job of putting us on fish, walking us through the right way to catch salmon, and was great with our teen boys! we had such a great time learning about the area and getting to know the captain thru the day!
