Finnish Lapland – the land of snow, Santa Claus, and excellent fishing opportunities! Team up with Galddoaivi Safaris and venture off the beaten path to explore the abundance of the Juutua River. Your guide, Atte Ikkala, is a fishing expert and knows exactly what to do to get you on a red-hot bite.
Juutua River is well-known as one of the best Trout fisheries in Europe, and if you're an avid angler looking for a unique adventure, then come to the village of Inari. Atte organizes all-inclusive one-day and 5-day fishing expeditions for up to 4 anglers at a time.
When you book a package, everything is included in the price – accommodation, food, 5 days of fishing, all the fishing equipment, and transport from and to the airport. You only need to bring your good self and layers of warm clothes.
Atte knows the waters in the area very well, so you'll find no one better to get you to the hideouts of massive Brown and Lake Trout. You will be fishing from the shore, and wading is also an option, just remember to bring your own wading equipment. Fly fishing is the name of the game on Juutua, and your guide will provide you with quality fly fishing gear and show you some tricks of the trade.
You can keep whatever you catch, as long as it's within the limit, but Atte warmly recommends the catch-and-release of Bull Brown Trout (weighing 20 pounds and more). You could easily land your next trophy while fishing Juutua, all the while enjoying the view of intact nature. Bear in mind that trips are seasonal and available from June 1 to July 31, when the weather is fair and the fish are biting.
Galddoaivi Safaris specializes in Lapland fishing, and if you've never experienced anything like it, Atte will lead the way to unforgettable fishing times!
