The Upper Chesapeake Bay has a fish with your name on it, so let Bay Raider Outfitters help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Joseph, allowing you to benefit from years of angling experience.
Around here, fishing is popular for Striped Bass, Catfish, White Perch, Yellow Perch, and more. You can expect to do some spinning, bottom fishing, or something more specialized in this area. You can take home any fish you catch within size and bag limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat. Enjoy it later that day, or pack it away for months.
You'll be welcome aboard a 26' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Joseph will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll catch it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!
The captain fishes the area from Twin Brothers Rock in the Susquehanna River to Pooles Island. Planning a family adventure? Kids are welcome! It's always wise to bring snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and a cooler for your fish.

Half Day Afternoon Trip
Great Trip!
This was our first charter with my two sons, and I was really hoping to hook into a big fish. The bite started off slow, and for the first few hours we only managed some small perch and catfish—mostly bait-sized fish. But the captain didn’t give up. He made the call to move us to a completely different spot and even offered to stay out longer so we’d have a better chance. That decision paid off! We ended up landing a couple of solid catfish, including a 10-pound blue cat that made the day. My friend also caught an eel, which was an unexpected surprise and fun for everyone to see. My boys said it was “so much fun,” and I couldn’t agree more. Between the excitement of the catches, the captain’s persistence, and just being out on the water on such a beautiful day, it was a trip we’ll all remember. Thanks, Captain, for making it such a great experience!

Half Day Morning Trip

My son(18) , nephew(12) and I had a wonderful morning out with Joe. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the trip and gave detailed instructions of where to meet him. Joe has been fishing this area for a long time and really knows where to go to find the fish. We caught a LOT of perch(small guys, fun to catch) and a few little catfish but the keepers were evading us all morning. About a half hour before the charter was to be over we started catching big catfish(which is what my son wanted, he loves to cook). Captain Joe provided us with a trip we will most certainly remember. He was on the fish throughout our trip, 30+ catfish on a 4 hour trip, awesome is the best word to describe it. When we left my wife asked the boys scale of 1 to 10 how was the trip, 10’s from them and my wife and I. We will definitely be planning future trips with Captain Joe.
