Circle H Outfitters specializes in offshore fishing trips out of Galveston, Texas. Here, you will find the local crew, rich waters, and plenty of fish. Out there, you can go after King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Wahoo, and Sharks. It's a year round action! Circle H Outfitters will also take you around nearshore waters in search of Speckled Seatrout, Redfish, and Black Drum.
When you come onboard, the crew will help you fish for some nice specimens of local waters. Captain Scott, the charter owner, has been in the charter business for two decades. He has run numerous fishing trips around these waters, with a lot of catch. Browse through the photos to have a look at the action.
You will be fishing from a 36' custom built center console. She is powered by Yamaha engines, and features an ice box, life jackets, GPS, a fishfinder, a porta potty, a freshwater shower, and enough shade for anglers coming along. Onboard, you will find the fishing gear, including rods, reels, and tackle. The boat can take up to six people.
When coming onboard, you should bring snacks and drinks. Alcohol (beer and wine) is fine, but no glass is allowed onboard. You should pack sunblock though not in spray. You can also pack sunglasses, a cap, comfortable clothes and footwear, soft white soled shoes, and sea sickness medication if needed. Get ready for the action and hop onboard!
You can select from a variety of packages, depending on what you want to target and how far offshore you want to go. The fishing license is not included in the price of the trip and neither is the fuel. To give you an idea of how much the fuel may cost, have a look here:
20-mile trip from 100 to 125 gallons
30-mile trip from 125 to 150 gallons
50 plus miles from 180 to 200 gallons
The pricing can vary, but it now stands at $3.00 per gallon.

6 hour bay - jetty trip on July 8, 2026 • 3 adultsWe wnjoyed it so much. Captain Scott and Kobe were very knowledgeable and patient. they took us to different spots. We caught 2 Pampano very good size, some nice size Black drum, tons of trout, red drum (almost at the right size but still fun), big cat fish, 2 whiting, 2 sharks (released of course just fir fun)! We also saw a pod of dolphins and even caught some unwanted dog fish Lol! it was a lot of fun. They kept the bait quick and handy so we could cast quickly. It was a fun trip with my Husband and son. we enjoyed it very much. Captain Scott and Kobe are your guys if you want some good take home fish.

Captain Rick and First Mate Mason are top notch guides that really know their Galveston water. They were honest from the start about the rough current conditions for the day and we were still ale to catch 3 very large Red Drum, with one of them being 37 inches long. Very helpful and patient with my sister and brother in law who had never been on a boat before or caught any fish. I would highly recommend these guys for your family trip.

We wnjoyed it so much. Captain Scott and Kobe were very knowledgeable and patient. they took us to different spots. We shot down after a tournment game for a 4 hour trip out hoping to get our boys on something big. what a great time! secured some keepers to take home to cook and then spent the rest of the trip chasing a bigger catch. all three boys got a chance to fight something! sting ray, couple of sharks, and a big drum fish. was an awesome time with captain Rick, well be back!

We had a great trip with Captain Saul and our family. He we very fun and knowledgeable. We had plenty of action and lots of fish to eat. He even gave us recommendations on restaurants to take our fresh catch to to have it cooked. Highly recommend!
