Captain Ricky specializes in family-oriented trips and loves to take children fishing. He has vast historical knowledge of the Galveston waters, making your adventure fun and educational.

These waters are known for Lane Snapper, Almaco Jack, Redfish, Gag Grouper, Red Snapper, Cobia, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Kingfish, Great Barracuda, and more. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

You'll be dropping lines from a 42' Invincible Center console with space for 6 passengers. It has triple 350 HP Suzuki engines. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. Live bait is included.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Both Captain and Mates work hard for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 18-20% tip. Anyone 17 years and older will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

First time out on water that wasn't a creek or a pond. One adult and ages 17, 16, 13, 13, and 9. It was a great experience for all of us fishing around the jetty area and looking forward to going out to the open water next time. The Captain and 1st mate were great.

    boat was nice plenty of room .fishng gear was good but thats about what nice i could say The captain and his hand were not very friendy and didnt care to give us much of any info about fishing and wasnt very aggressive in finding some good spots. I felt more like they really didnt care to help. or be social at all. had a few awkward moments with. i have been on several charters and today i just was suprised how they handled themselves. We had 6 on this trip and there were a plenty of rods to fish with but only cared to rig up four. i get smetomes fish arent biting but i just dont want to feel like an inconveniant like i did today. we caught a few things but it was just over all not an enjoyable time. theres a lot of charters to choose out of i suggest go another route. we still tipped but i stugged with that do to the lack customer service on this one.

    We had an unforgettable day on the water. Ricky was friendly, patient, and clearly knew the area inside and out—he worked hard to put us on fish and it paid off. We were the only group on the water catching anything that day, and it made the experience even more special. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a successful and fun fishing trip!

    I decided to take a last-minute trip with the family before school started. The captain seen that I had a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old boy on the boat and asked me if I wanted to go shark fishing. I said why not let’s see what these boys are made of.. needless to say we landed around 15 sharks. What made the trip even funner was when we first started we stopped off and fished for bait for 30 minutes and caught about 75 sand trout.. This was a blast for them as well. I would definitely recommend Circle H.
