Live bait will be caught along the route and your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you. Capt. James will also take care of your fishing license, so you don't have to worry about it. Just bring your own food and drinks, as well as a pair of comfortable soft-soled shoes so you can stay light on your feet.
We will be leaving from Battle creek Prince Fredrick Md . Solomons Island Md. or Cape Charles Virginia depending on time of year. These are some of the best places to go fishing around the Maryland Chesapeake Bay due to its diversity of fish species. As native Marylanders who now live out of state, we appreciate the opportunities to be out on the Bay. This looked like a great way to spend some vacation time. There were six of us in the party, including two very reluctant teenage daughters. Initially they said they didn't want to fish but Jim and Jay made the day so much fun that, by the end, they were are top two finishers for catching the most fish. We loved spending the first hour or so looking for the spot fish - everyone was successful and really got into the excitement. Then we moved across the Bay and really started going after the rockfish. We really enjoyed our time with Jim and Jay and can't wait to book with them the next trip home!
Jim was a great Capt and we learned a lot during our trip! We didn’t catch as much as we’d hoped, but it wasn’t due to a lack of effort by our Capt. He tried to get us in the right spots, but the fish just weren’t there. Definitely would do again!

Great time on the water with Captain James. Bite was slow but he did his best to put us on some fish and we ended the day strong. Definitely coming back for another trip.
We book fishing charters quite a bit and this was a great one. My teens had so much fun on the half day charter and the crew was just so nice and fun. If you are anywhere in the DC area I would recommend it. We will be back
