Out N About Sportfishing (Port Douglas) 

We had a fantastic day out fishing with Matt. The conditions weren’t ideal and made the fishing pretty challenging, but Matt’s knowledge, patience and experience really stood out. He was fantastic with my three kids, keeping them engaged and making sure everyone had a great time.

We came all the way from California to to explore the awsome fishery of Port Douglas. Even without great conditions Matt our guide was able to give us every chance at a true trophy and still put quality fish on the boat. Matt has to be one of the best guides on the water with his high end custom boat, top quality equipment and expert knowledge of the area. Could not recomend him more and will be back soon!

Booked this hoping for a great experience for all of us! And got exactly that. We caught fish, Matt was great, helped us all out and made it a fun trip! Will definitely book again if we ever come back 👍

A family of 6 had an amazing day! We were able to see and do so much on the half day fishing excursion in Port Douglas. Our captain provided us with so much information about the area, the crocodiles and of course the fish we were able to land such as the honeycomb cod, Spanish flag and coral trout. As Americans in port during our cruise, we had an experience of a lifetime. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Out n About for going above and beyond!!

What a great morning fishing ! We had Robert take us out and we were pulling in fish within minutes of arriving at our first destination. Fished three different areas and had great success in all locations. So many differnt fish including Coral Trout and Red Emperor. I caught a bait fish very early on and Robert hooked it up out the back in the hope of landing something big. Sure enough fifteen minutes later i was fighting with a good size Spanish Mackrel and yes i managed to get it up into the boat. Robert cleaned and filleted it and shared it with the rest of the crew so we will all be eating well tonight. We had six on board aging from ten through to fifty and we all had a ball. Highly recommended these guys for beginners or the more experienced angler. Well done Out n About i will definitely book again next time i am up this way. Thank you.

Great trip with Matt. He knew his stuff and was happy to help out the kids. Had a great time and caught some good fish. Can’t wait to go back again

An absolute ripper day! We were lucky to get absolutely perfect weather so we were spoilt for choice with great spots to anchor. Our skipper Adam was amazing! Very knowledgeable and professional and made us all feel comfortable. He helped us all reel in some fantastic sea monsters including Spanish Mackerel and GT! We're heading home with big smiles, an Esky full of fish, sore arms and great pics for bragging rights!! Cheers, Tom, Mel, Eric and Mariah 🎣
