Located on the legendary Boston Harbor, Hingham is famous for 2 major reasons – its rich colonial history and great fishing. If you're looking for an ultimate experience fishing these bountiful waters, look no further than Snap Shot Charters! We can pick up at almost any dock in Boston Harbor and surrounding area.
Captain Eric Kulin has been a guide for 20 years, and fishing is his greatest passion, followed by photography. He used to be a professional photographer so you can expect to get the best of both worlds – the biggest catch and the best photos to show off to your friends.
Your boat for the day will be a 28' Contender center console that can comfortably carry up to 6 anglers of all ages and skill levels. It comes powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and features a live bait tank, an icebox, and top-notch marine electronics and safety gear.
Captain Eric will do everything in his power to put you on the biggest species in the area, including giant Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Bluefish, and Cod. Armed with light tackle gear, you'll get to try a variety of techniques, such as bottom fishing, spinning, and even fly fishing. The latter is an option on every trip – the captain loves to fly fish and provides top-notch gear by Orvis.
You'll also be supplied with the best conventional tackle – Shimano reels and St. Croix rods, as well as lures. Live bait is rarely used, though it can be made available upon request. Drinks and licenses are also included in the price.
The captain is a big supporter of catch and release, but if you really want to, you can keep your catch, and he will gladly clean it for you.

Almost had a very disappointing day few hours as we fished 6am-11am and we finally caught 2 Stripers in the last 1/2 hour to save the trip. We know the ocean was in a weird way post hurricane. Appreciates Eric moving us around and trying many areas that usually produced fish. Overall good trip for our first charter boat experience.

He was honest and upfront, and warned us before we booked that the fishing had slowed down recently, and gave us the option to cancel or reschedule, but we were willing to take a chance. He worked hard and put us on fish, we caught several nice stripers, and lost several more. He was very experienced, knowledgeable, and personable, and we had a great time.

Highly recommend Eric ! Guy doesnt quit his search. Do not recommend weekend fshing unless you need to , way to many boaters out there !

Awesome first time fishing in the ocean for our family of four (including two teens). Eric was prepared, communicative leading up to the trip , incredibly knowledgeable about all things fishing and knows Boston Harbor inside out. His boat and fishing equipment was clean and in great shape. He was kind, patient and a good teacher to us newbies and we all caught the biggest fish we have ever caught or held in our lives. I can’t imagine anyone from a beginner to a seasoned pro not enjoying a trip with Eric. And how cool when your captain is also a professional photographer and can capture awesome photos to remember the day. 100% recommend this experience!

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
