East of Boston Fishing Charters is a Massachusetts-based sport fishing guide specializing in fishing the waters off Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay, and Cape Cod Bay. Our niche guide service specializes in providing anglers an opportunity to target trophy-sized Striped Bass on light tackle gear. Our clients mostly fish using live Mackerel and Menhaden (Pogies) that we catch at the beginning of each trip, which offers them the best chance at catching big Striped Bass on light tackle consistently. We will also fish with artificial lures including top water plugs when the opportunity presents itself, which is one of the most exciting ways to catch Stripers.

What should I bring?
Sunscreen. Food & Drinks. Sunglasses. Hats. Camera. Small soft coolers are highly encouraged, we do not have space for your big hard cooler & I will have a large cooler on the boat.
What Should I wear?
We recommend wearing layers as it is often cooler on the ocean than on land. Early mornings can often be colder, with it quickly heating up by mid-morning. A waterproof jacket & shoes are always a good idea no matter the forecast. No black sole shoes allowed.
Do I need to bring my own gear and bait?
We provide all fishing tackle and bait needed for all passengers on the boat.
Can I keep my catch and eat it?
Yes, if you would like to keep fish we can fillet and package your fish! We adhere to all local, state, and federal fishing regulations.

My daughter, wife and I went out with Captain Justin. Not much experience with stripers but we killed it! Probably caught +15 fish. We trolled , carted and jigged. Captain Justin was great. Experienced, knowledgeable and super helpful. Strongly recommend!!!

Justin took us out for an early morning striper hunt and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Extremely knowledgeable fisherman, as well as a fun and helpful guy! You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
