Suspect Charters 

There's a fish with your name on it in Boston Harbor and Suspect Charters will help you catch it! Having logged over 20 years on these waters, Captain Jake is prepared to put you on the fish.

Depending what charter you book you can expect to catch Bluefin Tuna, Striped Bass, or Bluefish.

On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and live line bait using light to medium tackle. when targeting Striped Bass. For Tuna trips we use the heaviest gear possible because the fish get well over 800 pounds. We will sit on anchor or drift for Tuna with live bait.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Capt. Jake has 2 kids of his own an 18 month old and a new born who is just a few weeks old. He has 11 nieces and nephews so he is no stranger to young kids. We love catching fish with kids.

Your excursion begins aboard a 35' Downeast a true New England fishing vessel. With room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There is a very comfortable couch that is perfect for lounging while you wait for the fish to bite. There's a toilet on board for your convenience and a very large clean bed for anyone who wants to lay down. There is also 4 custom lebroc helm chairs that are extremely comfortable.

Capt. Jake will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. We will definitely be catching live bait.

Trips are run with the help of Jakes right hand man Shep. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed, so long as you avoid hard liquor.
