Xama Adventures – Orange River 

Orange River is South Africa’s longest river, so why not give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the incredible fishing opportunities that it has to offer? With Xama Adventures unique ‘fishing safari’ trip, you’ll spend up to 4 days and 5 nights immersing yourself in this area’s stunning scenery and top angling action. Grab your rods and reels, and get ready to hook anything from Largemouth Bass to South Africa’s famous Tigerfish!

This trip is the perfect opportunity to get back to nature, and escape the real world for a long weekend. Up to 16 anglers of all skill levels are welcome – from newbies looking for a unique vacation, to expert-level fishermen who want to push the boundaries when it comes to testing their techniques! Xama Adventures warmly welcomes children over 5 years of age, too, so why not use this as an opportunity for a family bonding trip?

When it comes to fishing, you’ll be meandering down Orange River in a 10’ ARK inflatable canoe, capable of accommodating up to 2 guests. You’ll be joined by a local and experienced guide, who can provide up to 8 canoes for each trip. There’s room for both anglers to cast off at the same time, and you’ll be hooking into anything from feisty Tigerfish, to Spadefish, Bass species, Lake Trout, Grunter, and plenty more, depending on which part of the river you’re fishing along.

With up to 5 days of angling action on offer, it’s important that you have some time to put your feet up and rest, too! Your guide will arrange your accommodation for you, and this is included in the price of your trip, as well as all hot meals.
