Line Check Charters specialize in deep-sea outings for everybody, from the novices to the avid anglers.
Climb aboard Line Check Charters state of the art fishing machine. The custom 35' Sea Hunter will get you to the fishing grounds with speed and comfort. She's powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha V6 engines and can easily accommodate up to 6 guests. She features Garmin navigation electronics, safety equipment, outriggers, downriggers, and an icebox.
The trip options will amaze you! You can go bay and jetty fishing for Red and Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Spanish Mackerel; nearshore fishing for monster Bull Drum as well as some pelagic species, such as King Mackerel and Cobia; offshore fishing for Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, and Swordfish.
Your captain will supply you with a tackle by Accurate, Penn, and Shimano. A variety of live bait and lures are brought aboard, depending on what you're targeting and how the fish are biting. Don't forget to grab your fishing license before the trip, bring some snacks and drinks, and you're all set!

Captain Mike out of Galveston was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and incredibly hospitable throughout the entire trip. His experience showed as he consistently put us on fish and kept the action going. The boat was fast, comfortable, and well laid out, making for a great day on the water. If you’re looking for a top-notch fishing charter, I highly recommend Captain Mike. We’ll definitely be back! 🎣🛥️
let me tell you, this charter is awesome! We do at least one snapper trip during the season and it was our first with Line Check. It wasnt the usual snapper trip the big ones were being shy and elusive, but captain mike made sure we got fish in the boat! We went to multiple sites to make it happen. Deck hand Peyton rocked it! We had a reluctant 14 year old girl on the boat and Peyton was awesome with her! 100% will book again!
Captain Mike and Peyton were great. Our youngest caught the new Junior State Record for a yellowmouth grouper. Worked hard and put us pn a bunch of fish. Ready to go back.
Two adults and four children 10 - 16, and the crew made sure everyone had a great trip. Unexpected catch of the day - shark! Would definitely book again!
Our goup has been taking fishing trip for the past five years. Cpt Mike and Payton are the only ones we will book with going forward. Great trip caught lots of fish and had an even better time.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
